About twenty minutes later, Xie Hongbo arrived at the God-Hunting Building.
His brows drooped, and he looked miserable. "What, Qin Siyang's here again?"
The other managers looked at him. "That's right. Xie Hongbo, you're the supervisor here. How should we handle this? Do we tell Principal Zhao, or just charge Qin Siyang as usual? You decide. We'll follow your lead."
"Follow my lead?"
Just my rotten luck, Xie Hongbo thought.
New to the workforce, he had spent the past few days consulting older students who had stayed on at the university. He had already gained some understanding of workplace politics and was no longer a naive college student.
The managers at the God-Hunting Building were all Sequence Ability Users with clean backgrounds recruited from outside the university. They had worked before joining Southern Glory and were seasoned operators who had learned the ropes out in society. They were slippery as eels.
On his way to the God-Hunting Building, he had already figured out their plan-they were clearly bringing him in to do the dirty work of offending someone.
Whichever choice he made, either Zhao Longfei or Qin Siyang would end up unhappy.
Xie Hongbo couldn't wriggle out of it, either.
After all, he was the supervisor who had been parachuted into the God-Hunting Building.
His seat wasn't even warm yet, and he already had problems to handle.
Zhao Longfei was Southern Glory's principal, and Qin Siyang was a rising star. Xie Hongbo didn't want to offend either of them.
Just then, he suddenly recalled the day he had learned he would become the God-Hunting Building Supervisor.
He still remembered Zhao Longfei's warm smile when appointing him.
"Xie Hongbo, although your grades and strength aren't the best in your year, everyone speaks highly of your character, and I trust you completely.
