Brigade commander?
Qin Siyang felt a rush of excitement.
Was his command about to expand again already?
Chu Baxing and Zhao Sifang both came from powerful families, and they knew the forces they would inherit would certainly be larger than Qin Siyang's.
But they had both watched Qin Siyang grow step by step to reach where he was today.
They could not help admiring him all the more.
For Zhao Sifang, this was nothing new. He had always admired Qin Siyang immensely. Although he was a few months older, he still called him "Brother Qin" at every turn.
Chu Baxing, however, was different.
When he first met Qin Siyang, he had been full of disdain for this boy his own age, dismissing him as an insignificant schemer.
Gradually, he realized Qin Siyang had plenty of outstanding qualities and was nothing like the spoiled heirs he had met in the Legion's camps.
Later, he discovered that Qin Siyang seemed remarkably strong, capable of keeping pace with him-a worthy rival.
But before long, this rival who had been keeping pace with him suddenly floored the accelerator and sped away, leaving him farther and farther behind.
And now, here they were.
Although Chu Baxing still wore a cold expression around Qin Siyang, his heart held only admiration.
He also completely understood why Chu Xiaoang had kept telling him, "If Qin Siyang were four or five years older than you, he'd be more than qualified to mentor you."
He had to admit that his father had a keen eye. What had taken him months at Qin Siyang's side to recognize, his father had mostly figured out after just two meetings.
From then on, Chu Baxing became increasingly convinced that whenever he disagreed with his father, listening to him more would be the right choice.
