Then Qin Siyang saw a swarm of fist-sized creatures dart out of the distant ruins, hugging the ground as they bounded toward him at high speed.
"Damn it... they really are Iron-Helm Rat Fleas!"
Qin Siyang cursed, unsure whether to fight or run.
According to an informative post on the Godslayer Camp forum, Iron-Helm Rat Fleas were a relatively uncommon type of Sandworm Servant.
But according to Li Tianming, any information posted on a public forum like Godslayer Camp was worthless.
In other words, Iron-Helm Rat Fleas probably weren't anything particularly rare.
Iron-Helm Rat Fleas usually appeared in swarms, too, in even greater numbers than Long-legged Worms.
Thousands of them would often cluster around a single Sandworm.
However, despite their great numbers, Iron-Helm Rat Fleas had one drawback that God hunters absolutely loathed.
Not every Iron-Helm Rat Flea had a disc carapace.
Usually, fewer than one in ten Iron-Helm Rat Fleas had a disc carapace with a single groove in its lower abdomen. Even among Gods, this was utterly absurd.
Iron-Helm Rat Fleas were clearly Gods, yet most of them had no disc carapace.
That meant killing fifteen or twenty Iron-Helm Rat Fleas on average just to obtain a single disc carapace and earn one god-hunting point.
But.
Iron-Helm Rat Fleas weren't pushovers like Long-legged Worms, which could easily be crushed underfoot.
Their bodies were covered in spiked scales as hard as iron. Both their attack power and defenses far exceeded those of Long-legged Worms, making them extremely difficult to kill.
Thus, Iron-Helm Rat Fleas were widely recognized as one of the Gods that offered the worst returns for the effort.
With thousands of Iron-Helm Rat Fleas closing in, Qin Siyang didn't think he could beat them easily.
Especially since his body was nowhere near impervious to blades or bullets.
