The Safe Zone endured escalating invasions as Qin Siyang entered the Red Carp’s trial and the defenders lost Qian Wendao, Zone 931, and countless civilians. The Safe Zone rallied with new tactics and fighters, but Qin Siyang remained hidden and the war threatened to become a prolonged struggle.

  • Chen Gongrang died after leading the invaders into Wei Rulai’s ambush, and Qin Siyang entered the Red Carp’s Succession Trial before waking beside the wounded Sacred Carp.
  • Frost Tiger’s forces attacked the Eighth Domain, and Power Bull, the Sturgeon Crocodiles, and the Red Carp joined its defense.

Arc 65The Crimson Succession Trial

Chen Gongrang’s sacrifice helped the Safe Zone repel the invaders, but unrest and a new assault threatened the Eighth Domain. As the Large Gods fought to defend it, Qin Siyang entered the Red Carp’s Succession Trial and woke before the wounded Sacred Carp.

  • Chen Gongrang betrayed the invaders by guiding them into Wei Rulai’s ambush, where the Safe Zone’s forces killed most of them, and he died beneath their attack.
  • Qian Wendao honored Chen Gongrang’s sacrifice, and Chen Zhongming received his final message before returning to public office as Governor of State No. 2.
  • Qian Wendao told Qin Siyang that Sima Ji had betrayed the Seventh Domain and revealed his own past as the World-Destroying Church’s Yusi.

Arc 66The Fall of Zone 931

Qin Siyang learned that the gods feared his rise while a massive invasion struck the Safe Zone. After War Readiness Zone 931’s defenders died resisting, William took its people hostage and forced Qian Wendao to begin negotiations.

  • Red Carp gave Qin Siyang [Feign Death and Rebirth] before her condition worsened, and Qin Siyang used Zuo You’s revival drug and emergency medicines to save her.
  • Li Qinghui returned to the Eighth Domain and told the others Qin Siyang had saved her, while the Succession Envoy mistakenly threatened her with punishment before Niu Douchong clarified the contract rules.
  • Qin Siyang accepted Li Tianming’s tier five flying artifact, celebrated the New Year, and learned that 207 invaders had attacked multiple War Readiness Zones under William’s command.
  • William and Sima Ji redirected their forces toward five weak points, then concentrated the assault on War Readiness Zone 931 after Rong Xin broke its Anti-Aircraft Dome to draw in gods.

Arc 67The Fall of Qian Wendao

Qian Wendao saved the hostages of Zone 931 and sacrificed himself to unite the Safe Zone against the invaders, but William’s forces answered with a massacre in Zone 937. As the Safe Zone mourned its dead, Olof married Liu Yingfeng and Zhao Longfei proposed to Lin Yaman.

  • Qian Wendao exposed William’s plans, secured the release of more than two hundred thousand hostages, and named Gu Weirong as his successor.
  • Qian Wendao told Qin Siyang that his survival mattered to the Eighth Domain, but Qin attacked Granny Hua and was killed when defenders’ bombardment engulfed him.

Arc 68The Invasion of the Safe Zone

The Safe Zone exposed its traitors and used Quan Taibin’s technology to turn native gods against the invading armies. As the battle spread across the War Readiness Zones, new domain-sequence fighters reinforced the defenders, but Qin Siyang remained hidden and the war continued to threaten a costly stalemate.

  • Zhao Longfei and Zhao Sifang married Lin Yaman and Gu Yunxuan in a modest joint ceremony, while the Safe Zone’s residents used a three-day holiday to celebrate and remember the dead.
  • Quan Taibin gave Li Tianming his completed technology for disguising objects as gods, and the Safe Zone began training its forces to fight alongside the gods.
  • The Invaders attacked with more than a hundred thousand troops, while Xie Nanyun and Han Shuo were exposed as moles and fought Zhu Haifeng, Zhao Longfei, and the others.
