His information panel advanced from domain sequence level one to level two, but he had not yet learned what the breakthrough changed about his abilities.

  • Qin Siyang overwhelmed Ram with his spear and blasted him into a crater.
  • Qin Siyang began breaking through, and his path of self-verification split, folded, and fused into a golden domain with a brighter outer ring.

As the Safe Zone launched its counterattack, Qin Siyang faced the approaching storm of petals and realized his enemy had underestimated his strength.

  • Qin Siyang’s breakthrough sent golden light across the Eighth Domain, immobilized everyone, and announced that outsiders’ physical attributes would be reduced to one-thousandth within the domain.
  • People across the Safe Zone recognized Qin Siyang as the true Domain Master, and the invaders retreated in terror.

Seeing the spear as her chance to defeat the First Domain, Pushpa recalled how fear had led her to surrender and betray the Third Domain, and became consumed by the desire to claim it.

Ch. 1710Already a Death Trap

Granny Hua, who revealed herself as Pushpa, attacked Qin Siyang to seize the spear, but his strength and speed overwhelmed her. Qin Siyang told her she could neither defeat him nor escape his domain.

  • Qin Siyang rejected Pushpa's advice to ally with Alan and Sima Ji, condemned her for oppressing others, and gave her the chance to take her own life.

Ch. 1714A wave of breakthroughs

After breaking through to domain sequence level two, Qin Siyang cleared the Great River bank and tasked Duan Chongfang with commanding Sigma District's pursuit forces. Across the battlefield, Safe Zone fighters seized the opening to break through to domain sequence, while Gu Weirong received reports of their advances.

  • Qin Siyang killed hundreds of invaders at the Great River and reunited with Duan Chongfang, who had also reached domain sequence.
  • Duan Chongfang told Qin Siyang that Life-Substitution Lamps were killing hundreds of thousands of people on both sides of the war.
  • Qin Siyang arranged for Duan Chongfang to command Sigma District's pursuit forces and ordered him to stop the fleeing invaders from crossing the river.

William led his surviving Domain Sequence troops toward the Great River, but Qin Siyang and Wei Rulai blocked their escape. Qin Siyang chose to stop William’s force rather than pursue Sima Ji, and the chapter ended with him preparing to fight the invaders.

  • After Sima Ji warned him, William contacted Margaret and began retreating with more than eight hundred Domain Sequence troops.
  • Qin Siyang appeared in the Great River as Wei Rulai positioned the Mobile Fortress Unit on the bank, trapping William’s troops between them.
  • Wei Rulai told Qin Siyang that Sima Ji had escaped while Yan Bunan pursued the abandoned main invasion force.

William confronted Qin Siyang on the river after Qin exposed Granny Hua’s death and offered to spare ten percent of William’s troops if he surrendered the rest. Their battle began with William using a powerful mist attack to strike Qin Siyang, who plunged toward the river.

  • Qin Siyang revealed Granny Hua’s death, and William’s troops reacted with shock.
  • Qin Siyang argued that William’s ships and disorganized forces were vulnerable on the river, then offered to let ten percent of William’s subordinates live if William accepted the deal.
  • William rejected the offer and transformed into black smoke to attack Qin Siyang.

  • Qin Siyang fled underwater to recover from his injuries after William overwhelmed him in combat.

Though Qin Siyang had exhausted his key skills and was bluffing, William’s troops had lost their nerve, leaving the two commanders locked in a standoff.

  • William questioned Qin Siyang about his strength, and Qin Siyang admitted he had reached domain sequence level two after killing William’s people.
  • Qin Siyang demanded that William let eighty of his fewer than eight hundred surviving soldiers live while the rest stayed behind, but William rejected the terms.
  • William hesitated to order an attack because he feared Qin Siyang’s position-swapping skill, while Qin Siyang privately worried that his bluff would be exposed.

Zhao Longfei explained that the demand would break William’s authority and intimidate the First Domain, while warning that the First Domain might still have other forces; the chapter ended with Zhao and Wei Rulai trading insults and threatening to fight.

  • Qin Siyang rejected William’s attempt to take half his elite warriors and insisted that he could take only eighty, threatening to resume the battle if he kept bargaining.
  • William asked why Qin Siyang was making the demand, but Qin Siyang refused to explain himself.
