Ch. 21I won't tell you anything!

Gabrielina and Kaeya destroyed a Stormterror power nexus and fought three Abyss Mages, with Diluc joining the battle. After the group learned the mages had been ordered to ambush the Knights of Favonius, Diluc killed their captive, then suddenly ignited his flames and faced Gabrielina.

  • Gabrielina and Kaeya cleared the temple maze and destroyed the stone nexus that had been releasing Anemo energy for Stormterror.
  • Three Abyss Mages appeared, and Diluc arrived to attack the Cryo Mage while Kaeya and Gabrielina fought the other two.
  • Diluc and Gabrielina interrogated the surviving Abyss Mage, which revealed that the mages had helped establish the nexuses and were ordered to ambush Knights of Favonius.
  • Diluc killed the captive Abyss Mage despite Kaeya's suggestion to take it back for further questioning.
  • As Kaeya prepared to leave with Diluc, flames suddenly erupted, and Diluc turned toward Gabrielina with an eager look to fight.

Ch. 22She really was adorable

Gabrielina defeated Diluc in a duel and then joined Lumine, Paimon, and Lisa at the temple. As the group set out to deal with Stormterror, Lisa teased Lumine about Gabrielina, who stepped in to defend her and accepted Lisa’s offer of dinner.

  • Gabrielina struck Diluc with her hammer, sent him flying, and revealed that she had deliberately made the duel worthwhile.
  • Kaeya gave Gabrielina a map to Lisa’s location and left with Diluc to return to Mondstadt.
  • Lisa told Lumine and Paimon that Stormterror was Dvalin, one of Mondstadt’s Four Winds, and gave Lumine a book about it.
  • Lisa teased Lumine about her interest in Gabrielina, who arrived at the temple and called Lumine adorable.
  • Gabrielina led the group into the temple, and Lisa offered to treat them to dinner after the mission, prompting Paimon to eagerly agree.

Ch. 23Miracles and magic aren't free

Lisa questioned the source of Gabrielina’s power, and Gabrielina explained that magic always came at a price while describing Lumine as a special variable in the world. After Gabrielina destroyed the final wind stone and ended the whirlwinds threatening Mondstadt, she quietly resolved to rewrite the script with Lumine.

  • Lisa used spells from her grimoire to defeat a Hilichurl while discussing her interest in Gabrielina’s abilities.
  • Gabrielina let Lisa touch her wing, then revealed that Lisa could only faintly sense the powerful force within her.
  • Gabrielina said that miracles and magic were not free, and compared gaining power to making a deal with the world and the Heavenly Principles.
  • Gabrielina told Lumine that she was special because she came from beyond the heavens and was a variable in the world.
  • Gabrielina threw a black dagger through the final wind stone, dispersing the three whirlwinds attacking Mondstadt.

Ch. 24An honorary knight just passing through (revised)

Jean rebuked the Fatui counselor for threatening Mondstadt and for trying to sow distrust between the city and Gabrielina. After Lumine and Paimon arrived, they showed Jean and Lisa a red crystal left by Dvalin, and Jean asked Lumine and Gabrielina to become Honorary Knights of Favonius.

Ch. 25I'm the Anemo Archon. Send money

After leaving the Knights of Favonius, Gabrielina, Lumine, and Paimon tracked down the green-clad bard Venti, who revealed he knew about their encounter with Dvalin. When Lumine showed him the crystal, its corruption had turned pure blue, and Venti recognized it as Dvalin's tears.

  • Gabrielina pulled Lumine aside, and Lumine said she wanted to investigate the man who could communicate with Dvalin.
  • Lumine and Paimon spotted Venti and followed his Anemo trail to Cathedral Plaza, where Gabrielina transported them through a portal.
  • Venti sang a poem about Dvalin, then collected Mora from the crowd with his hat.
  • Venti recognized Lumine and Paimon as the travelers who had scared Dvalin away, and they told him they wanted to discuss Stormterror.
  • Lumine showed Venti the crystal, which had changed from blood-red to sky blue, and Venti said it held Dvalin's tears.

Ch. 26Corrupted divine blood

Lumine purified one of Dvalin’s tears while Gabrielina’s attempt destroyed another, and Venti left to seek help at Mondstadt’s Heroic Symbol. At Windrise, Venti found Gabrielina with his buried wine as Lumine asked him about the Anemo Archon, Barbatos.

  • Venti explained that Dvalin’s tears held his pain and asked Lumine and Gabrielina to purify two Tear Crystals.
  • Lumine purified her crystal, but Gabrielina’s power drained the Anemo from hers and left it to crumble into black mist.
  • Venti said Dvalin would still burn out from his rage and hurried to Mondstadt’s Heroic Symbol with a plan.
  • Lumine, Paimon, and Gabrielina reached Windrise, where Gabrielina dug up Venti’s buried wine before he arrived.

  • Venti asked Lumine whether she wanted to learn about the Anemo Archon because of Dvalin, and she said someone had told her about the dragon’s past.
  • An Eye of the Storm attacked the group, and Lumine and Gabrielina worked together to expose its core while Venti helped keep Lumine aloft.
  • Gabrielina smashed the Eye of the Storm into a crater with her Black Great Hammer, and Lumine finished the fight by retreating with a Palm Vortex.
  • Lumine asked Venti why he had come, and he confirmed that Dvalin’s attacks came from a curse and the Abyss Order’s corruption, not neglected offerings to the Four Winds.
  • Venti described the Abyss Order as an evil organization of nonhuman beings, and Gabrielina told Lumine she had fought some of them with Kaeya at the temple.

Ch. 28Want to Steal a Harp Together?

Venti asked Lumine and Gabrielina to retrieve the Skyward Harp from Favonius Cathedral so he could use it to awaken Dvalin. The nun refused to hand it over, even after Venti revealed that he was Barbatos, leaving the group without the harp.

Ch. 32What it felt like to like someone

Gabrielina, Lumine, Noelle, and Klee went to With Wind Comes Glory to choose a gift for Bea to give Quinn. Their conversation about love and gifts prompted Marjorie to mistake Noelle’s closeness with the two girls for romance, leaving Noelle embarrassed.

  • Noelle told the group that Quinn was one of Mondstadt’s Four Drunken Kings, and they agreed to choose a wine-related gift for Bea.
  • Noelle asked Lumine and Gabrielina what gifts they would like, and Gabrielina said that understanding each other’s feelings mattered more than the gift itself.
  • Klee asked Gabrielina if she had someone she liked, and Gabrielina avoided answering as Lumine watched her intensely.
  • The group arrived at With Wind Comes Glory, where Marjorie teased Noelle about supposedly loving both Lumine and Gabrielina.
  • Gabrielina clarified that they had come to pick a gift for someone else, while Marjorie continued teasing Noelle.

Ch. 33Use charm on her![4k]

Gabrielina, Lumine, and Noelle helped Beatrice choose a gift for Quinn and scout a place for their date, traveling to Cape Oath and taking photographs along the way. The group headed back at sunset, while Gabrielina teased Noelle and hinted that she and Lumine had an important errand that night.

  • Gabrielina and Lumine chose a Special Ice Bottle for Beatrice to give Quinn, and Beatrice asked Noelle to help plan their date location.

  • At Cape Oath, Lumine took photographs of Gabrielina and then the group as they watched the sunset.
  • Noelle suggested Starsnatch Cliff for its nighttime scenery, but Lumine and Gabrielina said they had to leave because they had another task that night.
  • Gabrielina comforted Noelle about taking too much work, then hurried off with Klee as the others followed; Klee's backpack tossed out a smoking object that burst into a small firework.

Ch. 34No rush, no rush-let's toy with her

Gabrielina confronted Venti about the Starfell Lake explosion and struggled with anger she did not understand before rejoining Lumine in the Underground Sanctuary. As Lumine moved to retrieve the Skyward Harp, a Fatui Electro Cicin Mage attacked and struck Gabrielina with lightning.

  • Venti stopped Gabrielina outside the cathedral basement and asked her to show restraint, warning that Mondstadt could not withstand more turmoil.
  • Gabrielina argued that Venti was making too much of the danger, then left to catch up with Lumine while troubled by her sudden anger.
  • The system told Gabrielina that her battle-oriented body naturally responded to threats with anger, and she found Lumine sneaking through the Underground Sanctuary.
  • Lumine noticed Gabrielina looked unwell, then went ahead to take the Skyward Harp from the treasure chamber altar.
  • A Fatui Electro Cicin Mage appeared beside the harp, attacked Lumine, and struck Gabrielina with a powerful lightning whip.

Ch. 35The Knights' hospitality

After Gabrielina defeated an Electro Cicin Mage who attacked Lumine, the group escaped the pursuing Knights of Favonius and took shelter in Diluc’s tavern. Venti told Diluc the truth about Stormterror and the Skyward Harp, and Diluc agreed to arrange contacts and meet them after closing.

  • The Electro Cicin Mage attacked Lumine, but Gabrielina overpowered her and dragged her away alive.

Ch. 36Dream [4k]

Gabrielina dreamed that the system caught a gigantic black dragon as a sea of fire and tide destroyed the world, then woke in the hotel room beside Lumine after a drunken night. She left Lumine to get ready for breakfast, still troubled by her nightmare.

  • Gabrielina met the system in a dream on a frozen sea, where the system said it was fishing for a powerful catch that could help her defy the Heavenly Principles.
  • The system hooked a gigantic black dragon, seized it, and put it in a basket before warning Gabrielina that the sea god was dead and flames would soon consume the world.
  • The dream world collapsed beneath surging black water and fire, and Gabrielina was swallowed by the tide as the final moon bled.
  • Lumine woke beside Gabrielina and recalled drinking Dandelion Wine with her at the tavern, but could not remember how they returned to the hotel room.

  • Amber passed Lumine on the first test and told her that Gabrielina and Paimon had gone to the second test site.

Ch. 38Crash Formula

Gabrielina received a new quest to help Amber arrest the elusive Strange Bird, while Lumine was nearly detained for flying without a license during her gliding exam. Amber learned the Strange Bird was last seen near Springvale and set out to pursue him.

  • Gabrielina considered the system’s easy-difficulty reward, then caught a pigeon that landed on her halo and teased Paimon about being related to pigeons.
  • Lumine landed in front of Gabrielina and Paimon, and Knight Otto accused her of unlicensed flight until Amber vouched that Lumine was taking her gliding exam.
  • Otto explained that the Strange Bird was a repeat offender who used Wind Glider to escape, and that the Knights had failed to catch him despite tracking a marked church artifact.
  • Amber asked where the Strange Bird had gone, and Otto said he was last spotted near Springvale.

Ch. 39An unexpected battle

Lumine, Amber, Paimon, and Gabrielina followed Strange Bird’s trail through Springvale, where they discovered he had caused a Hilichurl attack and was escaping with an artifact. • Lumine, Amber, and Gabrielina fought off the Treasure Hoarders, but more enemies arrived, and Amber realized they were being delayed while Strange Bird escaped.
  • Gabrielina unleashed a massive attack that engulfed the Treasure Hoarders in black smoke and told Lumine, Amber, and Paimon to continue the pursuit; Lumine reluctantly left her behind.

Ch. 40Wind, courage, and wings

  • Amber turned Lumine's final gliding test into a fight through a monster-infested ruin, and Lumine used Baron Bunnies while Amber cleared the way with flaming arrows.
  • Amber and Lumine reached a broken bridge and found Strange Bird taunting them from the far side of a deep fissure.
  • Amber recalled the guide about the first birds earning flight by leaping into a canyon and glided across the gap, carried the rest of the way by a hidden updraft.
