Chapter Summaries

Gabrielina, Lumine, and Paimon joined Jean, Diluc, and Venti to discuss saving Dvalin, while Gabrielina teased Jean and Diluc about their relationship. Venti restored some of the Skyward Harp’s power with Lumine’s purified Tear Crystals, and the group planned to gather more.

• Gabrielina spared Strange Bird after frightening him with two spears, and Amber explained how she had anticipated his escape route and revealed that her gliding license had been revoked and retaken fifteen times.
• Lumine suggested Gabrielina compete against Amber in Mondstadt’s gliding competition, and the group celebrated catching Strange Bird at Good Hunter.
• Lumine, Gabrielina, and Paimon met Jean at Diluc’s tavern, where Jean believed Venti’s account of Dvalin’s corruption and explained why the Acting Grand Master could not publicly support him.
• Gabrielina asked what Jean meant by calling Diluc “senior,” then privately decided she wanted to become Cupid and use her arrows on Jean and Diluc.
• Venti explained that the Skyward Harp needed more Anemo power, and Lumine restored some of it by placing two purified Tear Crystals on its strings.

Gabrielina promised Venti not to interfere with his deal with the Fatui after he asked her to stay out of it. Venti then reflected on his faint sense of familiarity with her, revealed his Gnosis, and let it dissolve into stardust.

Unable to sleep, Gabrielina lay beside Lumine and Paimon, reminiscing about an old late-night conversation before sharing a quiet talk with Lumine. Lumine figured out that Venti was the Anemo Archon, and the chapter ended with her telling Gabrielina she felt safe beside her.

Gabrielina left Lumine sleeping and went to Angel's Share, where she drank and asked the system why Lumine had confided in her. After deciding she could help Lumine by defeating the Abyss Order, Gabrielina spotted a flare near the city wall and flew toward it.

• Gabrielina slipped out of bed after making sure Lumine was asleep and went to Angel's Share.
• Gabrielina searched the tavern for liquor, then drank on its roof while the system teased her about her feelings for Lumine.

Diluc confronted an Abyss Mage near Mondstadt’s city wall and crushed it with overwhelming force. As the defeated mage crumbled, more Abyss Mages appeared, and Diluc drew his greatsword to face them.

• Diluc left the Angel's Share and watched the Knights of Favonius patrol before an Abyss Mage confronted him.
• The Abyss Mage recognized Diluc as the Darknight Hero, and Diluc ignited dark red flames and attacked it.

After the battle in Mondstadt, Gabrielina and Diluc discussed her ability to wield the elements and whether she might be an elemental lifeform. At dawn, Gabrielina returned to find Lumine awake and realized their reunion was no dream.

• Diluc explained that he had fought two Abyss Mages who had slipped into Mondstadt, while Gabrielina said she had her own reasons for being there.
