Ch. 41Execution of the Death Sentence

Kinoshita fought the Zenin Clan’s elite and used Blood Manipulation to turn their coordinated attack against him around. He defeated Ranta Zenin and Jinichi Zenin, leaving only Naoya and Yoshinobu Gakuganji able to fight.

  • Kinoshita decided to keep the Zenin Clan alive long enough for Maki Zenin to awaken as the Sorcerer Killer.
  • Naoya, Ranta Zenin, and Jinichi Zenin coordinated their techniques to restrain Kinoshita and bombard him with cursed energy fists.
  • Kinoshita fired Piercing Blood and severed Ranta Zenin’s right hand, revealing his use of Blood Manipulation.
  • Kinoshita read the timing of Naoya’s Projection Sorcery and kicked him flying when Naoya’s movement became predictable.
  • Kinoshita used Piercing Blood to destroy Jinichi Zenin’s cursed energy fists and wound him, leaving Naoya and Yoshinobu Gakuganji as the remaining fighters.

Ch. 42Naoya Zenin

Kinoshita fought Naoya Zenin and Yoshinobu Gakuganji while trying not to kill them. After defeating Gakuganji, he adapted to Naoya’s Projection Sorcery and unleashed a swarm of Supernovas, leaving the fight’s outcome apparently decided.

  • Yoshinobu Gakuganji demanded to know how Kinoshita knew the Kamo Clan’s Blood Manipulation, while Naoya Zenin attacked with Projection Sorcery.
  • Kinoshita used the first stage of Maximum Technique: Blood Red-Modified to restrain Gakuganji and injure Naoya, then knocked Gakuganji unconscious with a close-range exchange.
  • Naoya evaded Kinoshita’s attacks and struck him by disguising multiple frames of Projection Sorcery as single frames.
  • Kinoshita identified Naoya’s trick, but Naoya adapted to his Piercing Blood and Supernova attacks and grew faster.
  • Kinoshita entered the second stage of Maximum Technique: Blood Red-Modified and formed dozens of Supernovas as Naoya faced the attack.

Ch. 43Panda

Kinoshita defeated Naoya with unpredictable Supernova explosions, then fought Panda at the casino after Panda failed to reach Kinji Hakari’s surveillance room. Kinoshita overpowered Panda, but Kirara Hoshi’s technique pulled him away, and Kinoshita appeared ready to draw Kinji Hakari out.

  • Kinoshita used the random merging and explosions of Supernovas to overwhelm Naoya, then kicked him while he was down.
  • Panda won his casino match and repeatedly failed to approach the surveillance room, where Kinji Hakari was staying.
  • Kirara Hoshi introduced Panda to the scarred newcomer Kinoshita and arranged a fight between them.
  • Kinoshita’s first attack sent Panda flying and briefly knocked him unconscious, forcing Panda to enter gorilla form.
  • Panda’s Impact Palm failed to harm Kinoshita, who grabbed him by the neck and prepared another attack.
  • Kirara Hoshi’s technique pulled Kinoshita away from Panda, and Kinoshita smiled as he considered how to make Kinji Hakari appear.

Ch. 44Kinji Hakari/Kirara Hoshi vs. Kinoshita

Kinoshita challenged Kinji Hakari and Kirara Hoshi, who used their techniques together inside Kinji Hakari’s domain to keep him away while Hakari pursued a jackpot. Kinoshita figured out how to bypass Kirara Hoshi’s technique, and the chapter ended as the domain shattered and Kinji Hakari announced his jackpot.

  • Kinji Hakari arrived as Kinoshita’s Piercing Blood nearly struck Kirara Hoshi, then ordered Panda to evacuate the spectators.
  • Kinoshita asked Kinji Hakari and Kirara Hoshi to fight him together, and Kinji Hakari agreed.
  • Kinji Hakari activated Domain Expansion: Idle Death Gamble and explained that Kirara Hoshi could help him draw a jackpot safely.
  • Kinoshita activated Ochre Scale: Modified, but Kirara Hoshi’s Love Rendezvous repelled him as Kinji Hakari continued drawing.
  • Kinoshita deduced how Love Rendezvous’s marks worked, found mark three, and moved toward it.
  • Kirara Hoshi warned Kinji Hakari that Kinoshita understood his technique, and Kinji Hakari’s domain shattered as he announced that the jackpot was starting.

Ch. 45"Idle Death Gamble" × "Love Rendezvous"

Kinoshita fought Kinji Hakari and Kirara Hoshi, searching for a way through Love Rendezvous while Hakari’s jackpot kept him nearly impossible to defeat. As Hakari began another jackpot roll, Kinoshita found an opening and struck him with a miniature Piercing Blood.

  • Kinji Hakari battered Kinoshita through his Blood Armor and Exoskeleton, while Kinoshita healed himself and searched for Love Rendezvous’s mark three.
  • Kirara Hoshi moved mark three away, forcing Kinoshita to fight through Hakari before he could reach it.
  • Hakari and Kinoshita settled into a cycle of attacks as Kinoshita’s toxins briefly immobilized Hakari, who then expelled them and healed.
  • Hakari expanded Idle Death Gamble again, but Kinoshita used his knowledge of Love Rendezvous to circle the pair and pressure Kirara Hoshi.
  • Hakari stopped farming jackpots and fought Kinoshita while preparing another roll, and Kinoshita landed a miniature Piercing Blood before activating Suspicious Link.

Ch. 46A glimmer of hope for breaking the deadlock

Kinoshita battled Kinji Hakari and Kirara Hoshi, struggling against Hakari’s repeated jackpots and Kirara’s interference. He appeared to turn the fight in his favor by using blood infused with cursed energy to reach a mark beyond Kirara’s protection.

  • Hakari shattered the domain and entered jackpot mode again, so Kinoshita flew into the air to stall him while using Piercing Blood to keep him from climbing after him.
  • Kirara used marked objects, including a falling car, to force Kinoshita back to the ground and help Hakari maintain their teamwork.
  • Hakari activated Idle Death Gamble and immediately hit another jackpot, while Kinoshita’s Reverse Cursed Technique began falling behind his injuries.
  • Kinoshita realized Love Rendezvous marked cursed energy rather than ordinary objects, then used Maximum Technique: Blood Red: Modified to spread blood toward the number three mark behind Kirara.
  • Hakari realized Kinoshita could touch the mark with cursed energy, and Kinoshita declared that he had won the fight.

Ch. 47Entering Tokyo No. 1 Colony

After defeating Kinji Hakari, Kinoshita recruited him to gather powerful sorcerers in Tokyo No. 1 Colony so they could fight Sukuna. Kinoshita entered the colony intending to learn Hollow Wicker Basket from Reggie and prepare for Sukuna’s domain.

  • Kinoshita used Maximum Technique: Blood Red Modified to draw Mark Three toward Kirara Hoshi, forcing Kinji Hakari to surrender.
  • Kinoshita told Kinji Hakari about Satoru Gojo’s sealing, Kenjaku’s plan, and Sukuna’s goal, then asked him to bring Hajime Kashimo and Ryu Ishigori to Tokyo No. 1 Colony.
  • Kinji Hakari agreed to help, though he warned that Yuta Okkotsu might not believe Kinoshita without proof.
  • Outside Tokyo No. 1 Colony, Kinoshita reviewed Sukuna’s binding vow and decided he needed to learn Hollow Wicker Basket from Reggie.
  • Kinoshita accepted Kogane’s invitation and entered the colony as a player.

Ch. 48The roadside squad

Kinoshita tracked down Reggie’s group and demanded that they join him, revealing his knowledge of Kenjaku’s plan for the Culling Game. After Haba and Hazeno attacked, Kinoshita survived their techniques, but Remi was caught in Hazeno’s final explosion.

  • Haba charged Kinoshita, who killed him with Piercing Blood and gained five points.
  • Hazeno attacked with Explosive Flesh, but Kinoshita endured the blasts using Blood Armor.
  • Hazeno hurled an arm at Kinoshita, who dodged and left Remi to take the full force of the explosion.

Ch. 49Learning Hollow Wicker Basket

Kinoshita defeated Huanglu and forced Reggie to teach him Hollow Wicker Basket. After studying the technique’s principles, Kinoshita learned how it countered a domain’s sure-hit effect and why maintaining its hand sign limited its user.

  • Reggie summoned flammable liquids with Contractual Recreation while Huanglu attacked Kinoshita with Explosive Flesh.
  • Kinoshita used Maximum Technique: Blood Red, Second Revision to contain the explosion, then studied Reggie’s Hollow Wicker Basket before Reggie dismissed it.
  • Kinoshita beat Huanglu, survived Huanglu’s final explosion by healing under cover of smoke, and killed him.
  • Reggie gave up resisting and agreed to help Kinoshita learn Hollow Wicker Basket.
  • Reggie demonstrated Hollow Wicker Basket and explained how its hand sign neutralized a domain’s sure-hit effect while restricting the user’s actions.

Ch. 50Hiromi Higuruma

Kinoshita recruited Reggie to help with his plan to defeat Sukuna, then sought out Hiromi Higuruma in Ikebukuro. Higuruma caught Kinoshita outside his room and summoned Deadly Sentencing, where Judgeman accused him of theft.

  • Kinoshita demonstrated that he had learned Hollow Wicker Basket and made Reggie agree to follow his orders in exchange for sparing his life.
  • On November 8, Kinoshita added a rule allowing players to enter and leave barriers, after collecting a hundred points.
  • Kinoshita found Higuruma moving a bathtub and fetching hot water, then awkwardly waited outside while planning how to introduce himself.
  • Higuruma smashed through the door with his gavel and activated Deadly Sentencing, declaring violence prohibited in his domain.
  • Judgeman accused Kinoshita of committing theft on November 6, 2018.
