"It's Shinichi!"
Gaara looked delighted.
He was one of Gaara's few playmates, and Gaara hadn't expected to see him again so soon.
"Hello, Gaara."
Shinichi greeted Gaara with a smile. "Could you sit over there for a bit? I have something to discuss with your father and the others."
"Okay!"
Although Gaara was a little confused, he obediently sat off to the side.
As for Grandma Chiyo and Yashamaru, neither looked happy. Rasa must have told them what had happened when he went to fetch them.
"You brat from the Hatake Clan, what exactly do you want?"
Grandma Chiyo spoke bluntly, her expression hostile and a trace of hatred lurking in her eyes.
Everyone knew that Grandma Chiyo's son had died at Hatake Sakumo's hands, so she hated the Hatake Clan, let alone felt any affection for them. What's more, Rasa had told her that Shinichi was now threatening them with Sunagakure's safety. There was no chance she would treat him kindly.
"Grandma Chiyo, right?"
Shinichi paid no mind to Grandma Chiyo's hostility. Instead, he smiled. "Nice to meet you. I'm Hatake Shinichi. I'm sure your Lord Kazekage has already introduced me, but I do know my manners!"
"Don't give me that!"
Ignoring Rasa's and Yashamaru's pleading looks, Grandma Chiyo raged, "You people from Konoha have gone too far! First you killed my son, and now you dare come here and spout such shameless nonsense!"
If Rasa hadn't warned her repeatedly before she came, Grandma Chiyo would already have attacked.
Some hatred couldn't be washed away by time.
"You're already so old, yet you've still got such a temper."
Shinichi couldn't help taking a jab at her. "Fine. Since you won't be polite, I won't bother either. Grandma Chiyo, let's cut to the chase. Hand over your One's Own Life
