Neither of them expected a huge black shadow to suddenly shoot out of a nearby patch of woods. Xiao Yi Xian's expression changed dramatically.
Xiao Yan, however, remained calm. Looking up, he saw a magical beast before them. It appeared to be a giant ape, its eyes blood-red.
If Xiao Yan remembered correctly, this magical beast was a Heavenly Snow Demon Ape.
Xiao Yi Xian froze on the spot, instinctively retreating several steps in fear.
Though the Heavenly Snow Demon Ape was a magical beast, its gaze remained fixed on Xiao Yi Xian, a lecherous hunger gleaming in its eyes.
"I never expected this human woman to be so pretty. Keeping her as my stronghold's bride would be quite nice."
To their surprise, the Heavenly Snow Demon Ape spoke in a human tongue, its face steeped in lechery. It looked utterly revolting.
Hearing those words, Xiao Yi Xian felt an overwhelming wave of disgust and instinctively moved closer to Xiao Yan for shelter.

Then she saw an enormous figure slowly descend from above and land in front of them.
The enormous figure was a magical beast resembling a lion, with wings on either side of its body. Most importantly, it radiated the oppressive might of a sovereign.
Could this magical beast be the overlord of the Magical Beast Mountain Range, the Amethyst Winged Lion King?
As the Tier-Six Magical Beast appeared before her, shock no longer sufficed to describe Xiao Yi Xian's expression.
