Wu Hong sensed the attack from behind. He did not turn around, but threw his left arm back, and his elbow hit Shen Fei's chest with a dark red arc.
Shen Fei didn't hide, he pushed the sword forward despite the force of the elbow strike, and Ink Cloud's sword tip pierced the fabric of Wu Hong's lower back.
But as soon as the tip of the sword touched the fabric, a layer of dark red light seeped out from Wu Hong's body surface, forming an extremely thin film on the skin surface.
Ink Cloud pierced the membrane and cut into the flesh, but it only got half an inch before something got stuck. Wu Hong grunted, and the force of the elbow hit became a little stronger, hitting Shen Fei's left shoulder.
Shen Fei was pushed back three steps by the force. The soles of his feet dragged out two shallow grooves on Bluestone Slab, and a dull pain came from his shoulders.
He did not retreat. After standing firm, he rushed forward again, Ink Cloud lifted up from bottom to top, and slashed at Wu Hong's arm. Wu Hong turned around to block, and the two of them fought together in the center of the square.
The sword light and the dark red fist wind intersected, and each collision left new cracks on the bluestone ground.
Shen Fei struck very fast, each sword aimed at Wu Hong's vital points, but Wu Hong's defense was airtight, and he alternately blocked with his fists, elbows and knees, accurately blocking the path of Ink Cloud's sword every time.
Shen Fei could feel that the opponent was not using all his strength when blocking. Wu Hong's power was far more than that. He was just playing, like teasing a flapping insect.
After playing for about ten breaths, Wu Hong's patience seemed to be exhausted.
He suddenly changed his moves and thrust his right fist forward from the blocking position. The surface of his fist was covered with a layer of dark red energy that was much thicker than before, and it went straight to Shen Fei's face.
Shen Fei raised his sword to block, but Ink Cloud's sword lay horizontally in front of him, and his fist hit the sword with a muffled sound.
Shen Fei felt an overwhelming force from the sword body to his arm, running up Meridians, and his entire right arm lost consciousness at that moment.
His whole body was pushed backwards by the force, his feet left the ground, he flipped half a circle in the air, and his back hit a stone pillar at the edge of the square.
The stone pillar broke with a sound, and rubble flew everywhere. Shen Fei fell into the rubble, and Ink Cloud took off his hand and flew out. The sword was inserted into the bluestone ground a few feet away, with the hilt facing upward, buzzing and trembling.
Shen Fei was lying in the rubble, his chest felt tight, and a fishy sweetness came up in his throat. He held his hands on the ground and tried to stand up, but his arms shook twice and he couldn't hold on.
He lowered his head and glanced at his hand. His palm was full of blood. There was a deep gash in the tiger's mouth, and the flesh was rolled. He coughed, and blood overflowed from the corner of his mouth and dripped on the gravel.
He stood up slowly with his knees propped up, his right arm hanging by his side, and his left arm supporting half of the stone pillar next to him, barely standing still. He spat out a mouthful of blood, raised his hand and wiped the corner of his mouth with his sleeve, rubbing the blood on the fabric of his clothes.
Xiao Ning'er fell from the air and landed beside Shen Fei. She was breathing rapidly, and there was a thin layer of sweat on her forehead, but she was still standing.
She glanced at Shen Fei, her eyes paused for a moment on the blood on the corner of his mouth and his hanging right arm, then turned her head and looked at Wu Hong again.
Wu Hong stood in the center of the square, with dark red energy slowly rolling around him, like a thin layer of flame.
He glanced at Shen Fei and then at Xiao Ning'er. The light in his vertical pupils was a bit cooler than before. "Annoying flies." He said with an impatient tone.
Then he started to move.
Dark red flames seeped out from his body, rising from the soles of his feet, spreading from his shoulders to both sides, and rolling from his back to the top of his head.
Those flames were only a thin layer at first, burning close to the skin, but as the Spiritual Power around Wu Hong became thicker and thicker, the volume of the flames expanded rapidly.
The flame changed from dark red to crimson, from crimson to orange, and the temperature got higher and higher, baking the surrounding air into distortion.
Wu Hong stood in the center of the flames, his figure blurred in the firelight, like a statue of a god wrapped in flames.
The flames expanded outward, from one foot to two feet, from two feet to one foot, and from one foot to three feet.
In the end, the flames formed a huge fire tornado with a radius of nearly ten meters around Wu Hong. Dark red flames sprang up from the ground, swirled upwards, and wrapped Wu Hong's entire body in the center.
The heat wave was billowing around the outside of the fire tornado. The Bluestone Slab in the square began to turn red and crack under the high temperature. The stones in the rubble pile were roasted until they crackled and exploded.
Shen Fei and Xiao Ning'er retreated almost at the same time. The heat wave of the fire tornado hit their faces, baking their hair into curls, and the edges of their clothes began to burn.
They retreated nearly ten feet before barely exiting the direct threat range of the fire tornado. But the fire tornado did not stop in place, it started to move.
Wu Hong controlled the direction in the center of the flame, and the huge fire tornado slowly rotated and pushed in the direction of Shen Fei and Xiao Ning'er. Wherever it passed, Bluestone Slab was roasted black, leaving a wide scorch mark on the ground.
Shen Fei turned his head and glanced at Xiao Ning'er. Xiao Ning'er also happened to turn his head to look at him. Their eyes collided in the heat, and they both saw the same meaning in the other's eyes.
Shen Fei nodded. Xiao Ning'er also nodded.
Xiao Ning'er took a deep breath, and Wind-Thunder Sky Sparrow's shadow suddenly expanded to its maximum width behind her, and the lightning exploded from the wings, becoming denser, brighter, and more violent than before.
She held Thunder Spear in both hands. The gun body was compressed by dense lightning. The tip of the gun glowed with a dazzling white light. The surrounding air was distorted by the lightning. She did not retreat, but rushed forward to face the fire tornado.
Thunder Spear lay horizontally in front of him, with the tip of the spear facing forward. His whole figure was like a blue-white lightning, piercing straight into the periphery of the fire tornado.
The flames and lightning collided, exploding into a circle of dazzling light.
Xiao Ning'er's Thunder Spear poked a gap in the outer wall of the fire tornado. The gap was not big, only half a person wide. The surrounding flames were pressed by the lightning and rolled to both sides.
Xiao Ning'er gritted his teeth, exerted force with his arms, and Thunder Spear pushed forward, the gap slowly widening.
Her left arm began to turn red and blister under the heat of the flames, her sleeves were scorched, and her flesh made a slight sizzling sound. She did not let go, and continued to push forward, and the gap widened from half a person's width to one person's width.
Shen Fei moved as soon as she stabbed the gap.
He rushed up from Xiao Ning'er's side, keeping his body close to the ground, and got in through the gap wide enough for one person.
The temperature inside the fire tornado was higher than the outside. The heat wave came from all directions, scorching his clothes and instantly turning a dark red color on the surface of his skin.
He ignored these and fixed his eyes on Wu Hong in the center of the flames. Wu Hong stood in the center of the fire tornado, surrounded by thick flames, and his dark golden vertical pupils were dazzlingly bright in the firelight.
When he saw Shen Fei slipping in through the gap, his expression changed and his vertical pupils shrank slightly.
