On the second day, Xiao Tianhao took them to Shencheng's famous classical gardens.
Pavilions and towers, little bridges over flowing water, rockeries and winding paths-the scenery, so rich in Eastern charm, gave Goddess Yu Yan a sense of familiarity, as though she had returned to the world she knew.
Little Wan'er ran back and forth through the gardens, fascinated by the koi in the ponds and the little pavilions atop the rockeries.
The third day brought the main event-the amusement park!
The roller coaster's high-speed plunges, the dizzying spins of the giant pendulum ride, the weightless thrill of the drop tower... these might not have amounted to much for Xiao Tianhao, Huang Shujian, and Xiao Miaoqing, but for Goddess Yu Yan and Little Wan'er, they were experiences unlike anything they had ever known.
Little Wan'er was fearless and had the time of her life, her screams brimming with excitement.
