The Ox Demon's eyes widened, disbelief written all over his face.
He simply could not believe what had happened before him. The tide of energy had only just begun pouring into him,
and barely a few minutes had passed. How could it have ended so quickly?
His heart brimmed with resentment and rage. He had recovered from less than twenty percent of his injuries, and more than half of that recovery had barely been achieved by chewing through pills.
Besides, his cultivation realm had not even fully stabilized!
Yet the tide of energy had suddenly vanished at this very moment, as though it had never appeared at all.
