After several more days of tackling all kinds of Trial Towers, Ying Ming Hao could already feel a tremendous improvement in his overall strength.
He only needed a few days of quiet cultivation to break through. When Ying Ming Hao emerged from the last Trial Tower,
he did not linger, heading straight for the cafeteria. After days of intense tower challenges, his stomach was already growling in protest.
Ying Ming Hao hurried to the cafeteria as though his heels were on fire. Usually packed with a sea of people, it was now deserted and quiet.
Only a hundred or so people were eating. Ying Ming Hao quickly approached the serving counter and ordered two whole cartloads of food just for himself.
"Young man, where are your friends? Have they all gone out to train? It's been ages since I've seen you lot come in for a meal."
The cafeteria auntie helping push his food struck up a cheerful conversation. Ying Ming Hao and his companions had certainly left a deep impression on the staff.
After all, people who ordered several full cartloads of food every time they ate were few and far between. They were practically the cafeteria's biggest customers.
"That's right, Auntie. They've all gone to the Secret Realm to look for opportunities. I'm too weak, so I didn't go join the excitement."
Ying Ming Hao chatted with easy familiarity, never looking down on them for being mere cafeteria workers.
"I heard about that Secret Realm opening too. The fighting over opportunities is fierce. They say quite a few Heavenly Prodigy disciples have already died. If you're not strong enough, you're better off staying in the sect."
The cafeteria auntie looked deeply moved, almost as if she had experienced it herself.
"Auntie, you can put the food here!"
