But the White Flood Serpent had been ready. She darted aside like a ghost, easily evading the nauseating attack.

The White Flood Serpent burst into triumphant laughter, her voice seemingly piercing the clouds.
"Hahahahahaha..."
Her laughter dripped with mockery and contempt, as though she were ridiculing Long Ji's stupidity.
Her triumph did not last long, however. Having underestimated him, she took another impossible-to-guard-against glob of phlegm straight to her stomach, instantly setting it churning like overturned rivers and raging seas.
"Urgh, urgh, urgh... you wretched scoundrel... urgh, urgh, urgh... Flood Dragon Hot Breath!"
After a bout of vomiting, the White Flood Serpent opened her hideous Flood Dragon Snake maw and unleashed an unbroken stream of Flood Dragon Hot Breath like a fiery dragon, sweeping toward Long Ji like a tempest.
Yet Long Ji seemed to have eyes in the back of his head. He darted left and right through the thunderclouds like a flying swallow, evading each attack that blanketed the sky.
Just as he emerged from the thunderclouds again, the Black Flood Serpent's wicked smile suddenly appeared before him like a specter.
"Flood Serpent Hot Breath!"
The Black Flood Serpent spat a powerful blast of Heat Breath, striking Long Ji head-on like a searing laser.
Despite the two layers of golden armor protecting him, Long Ji was struck so hard that blood sprayed from his mouth like a blossoming crimson flower.

Coughing blood, Long Ji bolted in the other direction like a startled hare, trying to put distance between them again and wear down their stamina.
