"Junior Brother, stop drinking. What good does drinking so much do you?
You could easily hurt your health! Let's take our time savoring this fine wine later."
Lin Zihan strode forward and swiftly snatched the nearly empty wine flask from Ying Ming Hao's hand.
She held the flask tightly, gazing at the man before her, who reeked of alcohol and swayed on his feet. Her eyes brimmed with concern and tender sympathy.
"Hic~ It's fine... I've barely even started... this little bit of wine couldn't possibly get me drunk... don't worry about me... I'm perfectly sober~"
Ying Ming Hao's words came out in broken fragments, each one a struggle, as though he might pass out at any moment. Yet he stubbornly reached out, trying to reclaim the stolen flask.
"Hmph! Absolutely not! Just look at yourself. You're a drunkard through and through!"
Lin Zihan could not help feeling a flicker of irritation, and a hint of reproach crept into her voice.
She set the flask aside, determined not to let Ying Ming Hao drink any more. No matter how he struggled to grab it, even throwing himself against her, she remained unmoved.
By then, Ying Ming Hao was thoroughly drunk, his face as red as a ripe apple. All that was missing was for him to start whining and rolling around on the floor.
Yet even through his muddled consciousness, he kept mumbling, "Hic~ Give me back my wine... I want more..."
Seeing this, Lin Zihan shook her head helplessly and sighed softly. "Junior Brother, you're already drunk out of your senses! Come on, let your big sister take you to the next room for a good rest."
Before she had even finished speaking, she carefully helped Ying Ming Hao up and slowly led him toward the adjoining room.
