After awakening an ability to analyze Choices, Lin Yu selected a dangerous-sounding apocalypse cockroach challenge and learned it was harmless. He waited for the Choice to begin while his Survival Squad watched.

When the four volunteers entered their [Choices], only Lin Yu’s feed appeared, showing him arrive at a haunted bridal chamber where he was called the ghost bride’s husband.

• Lin Yu analyzed Shen Xian’s Wooden Comb and learned that it could unleash an attack of extreme resentment but might awaken if used repeatedly.
• Shen Sui’s group set off, and Yellow Hair teased Lin Yu about his skateboard and suggested he steal a vehicle.

Lin Yu and the others were pulled into a mandatory [Choice] instance and arrived at the desolate Huangyang Village. As tensions flared between Lin Yu and Zhai Guang, Shen Sui deduced that Lin Yu was a Transcendent, and Lin Yu described his ability as a kind of sixth sense.
