There was no piercing strike or explosion as expected.
As though alive, the mirror rippled violently across its surface and "swallowed" the entire lightning spear!
The next second, the mirror blazed with light!
A lightning spear identical in power, speed, and even shape shot back out of the mirror faster than it had arrived, aimed straight at the dumbstruck Lightning Release mask!
"What?!"
Kakuzu's main body didn't even have time to make the mask dodge!
BOOOOM!!!
The Lightning Release mask took its own ninjutsu square in the face!
Blinding lightning erupted. The mask wailed and twisted amid the raging electricity before finally exploding into fragments with a bang!
The second heart was gone!
Kakuzu staggered again, his expression turning even uglier.
He stared fixedly at the water mirror slowly fading before Uchiha Makoto, his voice hoarse. "Mirror reflection... that's the Mizukage's technique?! How could you know it?!"
Uchiha Makoto brushed nonexistent dust off his hands and answered calmly:
"Who knows? Maybe I'm just talented?"
Talented?
Kakuzu nearly spat blood.
How the hell could talent explain this?!
After losing two hearts in a row, Kakuzu finally abandoned every shred of disdain.
He realized that the brat before him was no ordinary Konoha prodigy, but a... monster!
I have to go all out!
