One was a Puppet Master controlling two puppets, seemingly the squad captain; one was an agile ninja who used Wind Release and shuriken; and the last had the most substantial chakra reserves and was probably a ninjutsu specialist.
The Puppet Master froze briefly when he saw Test Subject Number One blocking their path alone, a Sunagakure forehead protector on his head, then broke into a vicious grin.
Sensing something wrong with him, the Puppet Master immediately realized that someone must be controlling him.

The Puppet Master attacked first! Blades sprang from the joints of the two puppets, which were painted in eerie colors, as they lunged at Test Subject Number One like phantoms. At the same time, their mouths spat out a barrage of shuriken attached to explosive tags.
Test Subject Number One stood motionless, only raising his hands when the attacks drew close.

The sand on the ground seemed to come alive, surging upward in an instant to form a thick wall!

But the Sand Arms were astonishingly nimble, swatting or grabbing most of the senbon out of the air. The few that struck home were stopped by the thin layer of Sand Armor
