"Boom!"
The instant the RV started moving, the ground shook as though a small earthquake had struck.
Sand and dust billowed into the air as the black vehicle hurtled like an out-of-control mountain straight toward the modified jeep blocking its path!
"Fuck! Has he lost his mind?!"
The man in the leather jacket had been sitting in the passenger seat with a lecherous grin, waiting for the beauties inside to come out and beg for mercy like the women he had encountered before.
After the RV had been upgraded to level 4, its Chain Autocannon had retracted inside, only rising when needed.
So, as far as the man in the leather jacket was concerned, his side had over a dozen vehicles, RPGs, and heavy machine guns. What could their opponent do, even with an RV?
Turn the tables on them?
But when that black mountain of steel barreled toward him with a suffocating blast of air, his filthy grin froze, replaced by utter disbelief.
It was too big! Too fast!
How the hell did he dare?
"Open fire! Hurry! Blow it to pieces!!"
The man in the leather jacket roared, his voice turning shrill with fear.
"Ratatatat!"
"Boom!"
The Feral Wolf Guild members were hardened thugs who lived on the edge, and they reacted swiftly.
Over a dozen heavy machine guns mounted in pickup beds opened fire at once, their muzzle flashes forming a blazing line across the dim wasteland.
A metallic storm of bullets hammered the RV's outer armor with sharp clinks and clangs.
At the same time, the thug carrying an RPG pulled the trigger with a savage grin.
"Die! Even a tank would go down to this!"
Trailing a long plume of flame and a deadly shriek, a rocket struck the RV's side armor dead-on.
"Kaboom!!"
Flames soared, and smoke and dust from the explosion swallowed the RV.
"Haha! Got it!"
"Even a god would've been killed by that blast!"
The Feral Wolf Guild members cheered.
But then.
The next second.
It was as though invisible hands tore open the smoke.
The black RV burst out of the flames, imposing and completely unscathed!
The high-strength titanium alloy armor bore only a faint white mark. Even the paint had barely chipped!
As for those supposedly devastating heavy machine gun rounds? They couldn't even strike sparks off it. All they produced was noise, as helpless as raindrops against a steel plate.
"What... what the fuck is that armor?!"
"Even a main battle tank's armor isn't that tough!"
Their eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets, and an icy chill shot from their soles to the tops of their heads.
Before they could recover from their shock.
"Bang!"
An incredibly deep crash resounded across the wasteland.
With Lin Hui at the wheel, the RV's enormous [V-Shaped Titanium Alloy Barrier-Breaking Shovel], gleaming with a cold, menacing light, sliced through the fleeing jeep's side armor as effortlessly as a sharp table knife through cheese.
In that instant, the jeep's bulletproof steel plates tore apart like paper.
Then...
The RV rolled right over it!
"Crunch! Screeeech!"
The teeth-grating screech of twisting metal mingled with shattering glass and the crunch of human bones!
The driver inside never even managed a scream before being crushed into the wreckage, reduced to red pulp.
The man in the leather jacket reacted quickly, jumping out and rolling away at the instant of impact. Though the fall left him dazed and his face covered in blood, he had at least escaped with his life.
"Aah! My leg!!"
Clutching his broken lower leg, he rolled on the ground and stared in terror at the black behemoth, its engine still roaring and its wheels coated in blood and motor oil.
How was that a vehicle?
It was a monster clad in armor!
"Scatter! Get out of the way! Keep firing the RPG!! Hit the RV's windshield!!"
The man in the leather jacket forced himself to keep shouting through the agonizing pain.
The player carrying the RPG immediately adjusted his aim, but just as he prepared to fire.
"Bang!"
A gunshot rang out.
The RPG player's head exploded like a watermelon, and his headless body slumped into the truck bed.
In the second-floor combat room, Liu Xi braced her heavy sniper rifle and watched the headless corpse through her scope, not a trace of pity in her beautiful eyes.
"Bang!"
Another shot rang out.
A man preparing to ambush the combat room with a heavy machine gun gained a gaping hole in his chest, the immense kinetic force hurling him a meter away.
Every gunshot claimed another life.
Meanwhile, Lin Hui drove the RV straight through the convoy, smashing everything in his path.
A direct hit meant death; even a glancing blow meant injury!
The "elite convoy" that the Feral Wolf Guild took such pride in was nothing but a flock of lambs awaiting slaughter before Lin Hui.
In less than three minutes.
The once arrogant, overbearing Feral Wolf Guild convoy had been reduced to scrap metal and burning wreckage strewn across the ground.
Aside from the man in the leather jacket with his crippled leg, they had all been wiped out.
"Screeech-"
The RV came to a steady halt in front of the man in the leather jacket.
Its enormous shadow engulfed him.
Lin Hui pushed open the door, his tactical boots crunching against the gravel.
Carrying the rugged-looking Axe Gun, he slowly stepped down.
Su Qingqian followed him. Though her body still trembled slightly, her eyes were fixed on her enemy on the ground, her fists clenched so tightly that her nails dug deep into her palms.
"What... what do you want?"
Watching the man approach like the Grim Reaper, the man in the leather jacket lost control of his bowels and bladder, desperately pushing against the ground with his hands to drag himself backward.
"Don't... don't kill me! I'm a deputy hall master of the Feral Wolf Guild! If you kill me, every player in the Feral Wolf Guild will hunt you down!!
Our hall master is just up ahead! His vehicle is Lv5, a behemoth upgraded from a main battle tank! He'll tear you to pieces!!"
"A main battle tank?"
Lin Hui paused briefly, a mocking smile curling his lips.
"Let him come, if he dares."
He walked up to the man in the leather jacket and looked down at the once insufferably arrogant thug.
"What was it you said you wanted to play with?"
The man in the leather jacket shuddered. Looking into Lin Hui's eyes, utterly devoid of warmth, he suddenly understood that he had no way out.
"Boss! Sir! I was wrong! I didn't know who I was messing with! This woman... I don't want her anymore! Really! It was all a misunderstanding!"
He tried to make excuses, tried to beg for mercy.
But Lin Hui merely raised the Axe Gun coldly.
"Qingqian."
Lin Hui called without turning his head.
"Yes..." Su Qingqian's voice trembled with both excitement and fear.
"Watch closely."
Lin Hui's voice was low and calm, as though he were instructing a student.
"For trash like this, killing him with one shot would be letting him off too easily."
"True revenge means making him feel despair."
As his words fell.
"Bang!"
The first shot rang out.
Lin Hui hadn't aimed for the head or the heart.
The bullet struck the man's left knee precisely, instantly severing his lower leg and leaving it attached by only a strip of skin.
"Aaaaaah!!!"
His bloodcurdling scream echoed across the wasteland, making their scalps prickle.
"That shot was for your classmate, Xiao Ya."
Expressionless, Lin Hui worked the bolt and chambered another round.
"Bang!"
The second shot.
It struck his right elbow joint.
"Aah!! Kill me! Please, just kill me!!" The man in the leather jacket rolled across the ground in agony, tears and snot smeared over his face.
"That shot was for you."
Lin Hui's voice remained steady, without the slightest fluctuation.
"Bang!"
The third shot.
It struck his lower abdomen.
This shot wasn't fatal, but it would tear through his intestines and leave him in excruciating pain.
Standing beside him, Su Qingqian pressed a hand tightly over her mouth and watched the man who had once seemed like a demon now howl and beg on the ground like a beaten dog.
The fear in her eyes gradually faded, replaced by a sense of release she had never felt before.
So... even villains feared pain.
So... as long as you were strong enough, even demons would kneel and beg for mercy.
"The ninth shot."
Lin Hui looked at the man in the leather jacket, now nearly unconscious from pain, and pressed the muzzle against his forehead.
"In your next life, be a decent person. Or... don't cross my path."
"Bang!"
Red and white matter splattered.
The world fell silent.
Lin Hui lowered his gun, took out a handkerchief, and leisurely wiped the blood spattered on the barrel before casually tossing it onto the corpse.
He turned to Su Qingqian, whose face was now streaming with tears.
"How do you feel?"
Su Qingqian threw herself into Lin Hui's arms and burst into sobs.
"Thank you... Boss... thank you..."
"It's all right. Don't cry."
Lin Hui gently patted her back, but his gaze shifted toward the far end of the road.
"We still haven't settled the score with the people who drew trouble our way, and those two Feral Wolf Guild pickups that chased after them haven't been dealt with either..."
