Roadside Tank Encounter

Lin Hui first encounters a Tier 3 White Thorn watching a main battle tank it has disabled with bone spikes. He deliberately approaches to test his upgraded RV and seek valuable rewards 14.

During the fight, its regeneration and corrosive projectile force him to identify the protected waist plate rather than rely on indiscriminate fire. He destroys the weak point and earns the first Tier 3 monster-kill achievement, triggering a screen-wide announcement 15.

The tank’s survivor is Su Qingqian. Killing the White Thorn allows her to emerge, and her repair of the RV’s corroded armor demonstrates her Machinery specialization 16.

Aerospace-Parts Factory

Tang Chuan proposes a joint raid against more than a dozen White Thorns while concealing the presence of an egg-laying Tier 3 female. He expects the creatures to exhaust Lin Hui’s ammunition and defenses before he seizes the RV 22.
