In the morning light, the Wide-Area Silent Ship broke through the Cloud Sea. Through the bridge's observation windows, the outlines of the Sky Island archipelago emerged above the clouds.
The white Cloud Sea rolled in waves beneath the sky. Three satellite islands surrounded a central island of rock and earth, forming an almost equilateral triangle.
Small patches of island cloud dotted the area around the archipelago. Some held little formations of rock and earth, suspended among them like miniature reef islands.
