After entering the giant Lanternfish, Sephiroth had two other people aboard his speedboat: a Cipher Pol Aigis Zero agent and Sekou P., the Color Fruit user.
The smell inside the Lanternfish's mouth was far from pleasant. The masked Cipher Pol Aigis Zero agent's expression was hidden, while Sephiroth's full-face helmet also filtered the air.
Only Sekou P. sniffed, watching the two warily. He had never expected this accident to leave him stranded alone.
Although Sekou P. was bold enough to attack the navy, that was only with his boss and team backing him up.
Now, on this "cramped" speedboat, facing a Cipher Pol Aigis Zero agent and a strange man with unknown abilities, he did not dare make a move.
The Cipher Pol Aigis Zero agent had similar thoughts. Isolated and without support, he remained on another of the speedboat's mechanical legs for now, considering what to do next.
Only Sephiroth seemed "relaxed." He kept the speedboat moving and switched on its searchlights, illuminating the Lanternfish's interior.
The surrounding "walls" were covered in dark red flesh, making the place look like an enormous cavern.
It was filled with green water-or rather, liquid.
Sephiroth did not understand why there was something resembling "stomach acid" immediately upon entering its "mouth."

All he could say was that, in the world of Pirate King, it was best not to scrutinize everything too closely.
"Hey, Mr... Black Suit, if you hand over what you're holding, the World Government will reward you well!"
Remembering his mission and his superior, the Cipher Pol Aigis Zero agent decided to try talking first.
"Sure. No problem at all."
With that, Sephiroth tossed the imitation pure gold in his hand to the Cipher Pol Aigis Zero agent.
