--PU100 was sprinting at full speed!
"...This really is... straight out of a fairy tale."
Even Sephiroth, with his "God's-eye view," was a little unsure what expression to make.
"Boss, isn't this cute?"
Reiju had adapted quite readily, smiling at the "scenery" outside the window.
At that moment, Sephiroth and Reiju were sitting inside a decidedly fairy-tale-style "carriage."
Pulling it was a little pink fairy-tale pig labeled PU100, though its body was the size of a small elephant.
A pig running ahead and pulling their carriage was one thing, but "everything" along the carriageway was a Homie, singing songs like something from a fairy tale for small children.
"I can't believe they can stomach this 'VIP' entrance ceremony."
Sephiroth was referring to the "Underworld Emperors."
As the time for their entrance approached, servants had guided Sephiroth, Reiju, and Stussy to a place resembling a "taxi" parking area.
It was filled with these "pig carriages."
After saying goodbye to Sephiroth, Stussy had boarded PU96's carriage, while the other Underworld Emperors had gradually climbed into their own "pig carriages."
Stussy seemed to have meant exactly what she said: she simply wanted to get acquainted with the Great Angel. She had not brought up many meaningful topics, either. Given their surroundings, that was only natural.
The Mechanical King, Babbage, had been assigned PU99.
The six Underworld Emperors rode carriages numbered PU93 through PU98, and there were no more of these carriages after Sephiroth's.
"...Looks like they intend to have the 'Great Angel' make his entrance last."
Sephiroth first checked the situation with ordinary Observation Haki, then routed his signal through an extra relay, connecting to Babbage's "view" via satellite.
Since entering Whole Cake Island, Sephiroth had not used his wide-area, "active radar" Observation Haki. Nor had he established a "direct link" with Babbage.
