I don't care that much about the full-attendance bonus. I wasn't necessarily going to get it anyway.
I'm not going to be precious about it and turn it down. I'm just saying it's better to have it.
Who doesn't like money? Saying I don't want it would be bullshit. I'm not that cocky.
But the income from this site isn't that important to me.
How well has this book done, and how many words have I written?
Anyone who relied on writing to make a living would have dropped it ages ago!
If I were counting on this little bit of money, I would have starved ages ago!
Besides, I've never claimed I was doing this purely out of love.
Naturally, earning a bit more would be best. I'm not saying I'm the sort who wants nothing in return.
But have I ever asked for tips? Have I ever set up a group and invited people to join?
It's just that, when it comes to writing, I take whatever returns happen to come my way.
Two things. Here's the first.
It's only a small part of why I'm in a bad mood, but I'll mention it.
Some readers act like I owe them something.
"Readers" are a group, not a single individual.
The demands different readers make are inherently contradictory.
If I satisfy some, others are bound to be unhappy.
For example, whether a particular female character should join the harem.
That isn't a question of whether the writing is good. It's simply a choice.
Who am I supposed to listen to?
Who gets the final
