At the console in the secret chamber, Sephiroth couldn't help recalling his past-life memories of playing Warcraft.
It reminded him of that game rather than another RTS because he still had to control the hero unit, "Bondrewd."
But the game he was playing now took an absurd toll on his mind.
Controlling Bondrewd alone was manageable. Controlling this many units made him feel like his brain was being squeezed into a point.
...Either he lost his cover or he lost his hair.
That counted as a kind of equivalent exchange, too.
In truth, those hastily produced "Praying Hands" on the ground were all show. Their actual bodies were weaker than ordinary humans'.
They relied entirely on Mimic Organism signals to fake their "strength" in the senses of Observation Haki users.
They had practically no autonomy, either. Everything depended on the Black Stone Obelisks acting as signal towers, with Sephiroth controlling them in RTS mode.
Their combat power came entirely from mechanical equipment and the kinetic energy generated by electromagnetic manipulation.
Their weapons and equipment hadn't actually been "made on-site," either.
Sephiroth had hidden finished equipment inside the Black Stone Obelisks beforehand. When he performed transmutation, he covered it with fluid organic matter and various metals as camouflage.
Almost everything was premade. He merely pretended to be "rapidly transmuting finished products" on the spot.
After all that elaborate maneuvering, the spectacle alone was certainly intimidating.
Without preparing all those "supplies" beforehand and using the Abyss as a massive base station, supported by Black Stone Obelisks deployed across the island-
Sephiroth couldn't have pulled off this many tricks even if he worked himself into a brain hemorrhage.
