The Moon Temple's basic structure closely resembled the Temple in Babylon, but its overall style had a stronger religious air.

The High God's Inner Court stood toward the rear of the Temple's center. White dominated its decor, accented with touches of gold.

"Ah... it's time."

Hearing the bell ring three times, Mikita fiddled with her short blonde hair and involuntarily murmured those words.

Dressed in a reverse bunny suit with only the most basic protection over the crucial areas, she felt rather constrained whenever she moved.

The tolling of the cathedral's great bell carried all the way to the Inner Court.

Beside her, Monet wore a more playful maid outfit with minimal coverage and a U-shaped opening at the back. Openwork lace bands encircled her thighs, two fist-widths above her knees.

"Yes. Lord Sephi will be spending the night here today."

Monet arranged a few items they might need.

Normally, the two of them wore ordinary maid uniforms. Once Sephiroth returned, however, there was no telling what they might be dressed in inside the Inner Court.

Today, after finishing his work at the research institute, Sephiroth had not immediately returned to the Blue Star.

He visited the moon once every week or two. Besides handling official business, he also engaged in a few activities for his abstinence from alcohol.

A short while later...

"Lord Sephi, you're back."

Monet openly greeted him at the door, while Mikita followed beside her, trying hard to act as though her outfit did not bother her.

Monet's situation was relatively complicated.

After all, she had always been very receptive to Sephiroth. If not for that assassination attempt years ago, the two of them might have muddled along with their flirtatious diplomatic relationship.
