The adventuring party continued onward, following the lakeshore.

Aside from Sephiroth, whom Robin was single-handedly keeping in check, every member was female, so they had little to worry about.

The lake was crystal clear, revealing swimming fish and ancient stone carvings beneath its surface.

The building on the opposite shore gradually came into view. It was a stepped, tower-like temple, its main structure still intact.

A stone platform stood before the temple, extending all the way into the shallows by the lake.

Then they saw her-

A blue-haired girl stood in the shallow water by the ruins' stone steps, washing her waist-length hair.

She wore only a simple white linen bandeau and shorts, and once they were soaked...

-Yes, this definitely wasn't something they could let Sephi see.

Everyone suddenly found themselves of one mind.

Droplets slid down her smooth, fair skin, glittering in the afternoon sunlight.

The group approached on foot along the lakeshore, neither conspicuous nor noisy. The blue-haired girl hadn't noticed them yet.

After cleansing herself in the water, she climbed the bluestone steps dressed just as she was and approached a relief of a goddess. She knelt before it in prayer, spreading her arms out to either side.

From where Sephiroth and the others stood, the stone walls flanking the stairs blocked their view, leaving them unable to tell exactly what she was doing.

"Wow. She looks pretty cute..."

Nami spoke quietly. Although they couldn't see her clearly from this distance, they could still make out her figure and complexion.

Unless she was the sort who looked irresistible from behind but made you beat a retreat when she turned around.

"Hehe~ Yes, I'm a little jealous of skin that fair myself~"

Robin used her power to sprout a hand beneath Sephiroth's mage robe and trace circles
