Luffy's eyes shone almost the entire time they walked down the pedestrian street. Everything felt new and exciting.

"Even the police are robots! So cool!!"

Luffy waved his arms as he walked.

If Jango hadn't been reasonably dependable, and the timid Usopp hadn't held him back, Luffy would have gone off to pester the robot police.

"Yes, yes, we know."

Jango adjusted his sunglasses.

"Could you walk in a straight line?"

Of course Luffy couldn't.

Like a monkey let out of its cage, he darted all over the pedestrian street, crouching by the roadside to watch a robot sweep one moment, then drooling against a bakery window the next.

"Meat-! I smell meat-!"

"That's a bakery."

Usopp sighed.

"Bread can smell like meat too-!"

Sure enough, Luffy had his face pressed against the glass, staring at pork floss bread.

Chopper followed behind, his two hooves making soft clopping sounds on the stone-paved street.

He looked around curiously, but whenever anyone glanced his way, he immediately ducked behind Usopp.

The Victorian-style pedestrian street, with its steampunk touches, bustled with people.

Employees in administrative uniforms emerged from a café carrying paper cups, chatting as they walked.

Two technicians in work clothes crouched beside a roadside maintenance hatch, tightening something with a wrench while an engineering robot passed them a part.

A young mother pushing a stroller stopped at a fruit stall, and the vendor gave her an apple.

"This town..."

Usopp scratched his head.

"How do I put it? Everyone seems so relaxed."

"I read about it in the papers. I thought they were exaggerating..."

Jango counted as one of the better-educated members of the Straw Hat Pirates.

He had heard that Titans offered excellent welfare and covered people's basic needs. Ordinary citizens could live quite comfortably as long as they stayed
