Galdino and Jango lay fast asleep in the clearing, snoring away.
"What the..."
Usopp ran over and crouched in front of Jango.
"Jango! Wake up!"
Jango didn't respond.
Usopp nudged him again, but there was still no response. He grabbed Jango by the shoulders and shook him. Jango's head rattled back and forth, his snoring breaking off for a moment before starting again.
"He won't wake up."
Zoro walked over and took a look.
"Want to try slapping him a few times?"
Usopp hesitated, looking from Jango's face to Zoro.
"Will that work?"
"Won't know until you try."
Usopp took a deep breath, raised his hand, and gave Jango a few pats on the face.
No response.
Usopp gritted his teeth and raised his hand. Smack, smack, smack! This time, he slapped him for real. The blows rang out loud and clear, even knocking his sunglasses off.

Jango's eyelids twitched.
"He's waking up!"

Still dubious, Jango turned to look at Galdino, who was snoring across from him.
"...It worked?"
Luffy stood in front of Galdino, looking down at the sleeping candle man. Something about it bothered him.

Luffy crouched down and patted Galdino's face.
"Hey, wake up."
Galdino didn't respond.
