But they had come back too quickly for the Chief's liking.

"How many days has it even been?" he grumbled to Li Jie. "Two and a half, tops!"

"Then we definitely round it up to three. Anything less than a full day counts as a day."

Li Jie nodded emphatically. "No need to go easy on him. Including the day of the incident, let's call it five days. Five million... sounds about right?"

"I think so," Bob agreed firmly. "We don't want Mr. Wayne thinking we're too greedy... of course, you'll have to judge where to draw the line."

"So you're asking me for five million? As I recall, our trip to Hell lasted less than thirty-six hours."

Dressed in dark gray loungewear, Bruce Wayne sat behind an expansive desk, looking at Li Jie without expression.
