Trunks and Krillin walked through the base's spacious corridors, their mouths hanging open the whole way.
"The Red Ribbon Army really was something. After all these years, one of their bases is still standing."
Krillin sighed in amazement, then turned to Trunks beside him. "Trunks, does this base exist in your world too?"
"I don't know, but judging by the clues I have, the Dr. Gero in my world must have discovered the Big Gete Star very early on, then used its technology to start developing Androids."
Trunks had barely finished speaking when Krillin suddenly screamed beside him.
But he immediately gave an embarrassed laugh and explained, "Sorry, that thing startled me."
Krillin nudged a round, chubby head in front of him with his foot.
"That's Android 19! That model existed in my world too! According to Android 16, he must have been the guard here."
Trunks looked farther inside. "I hope Android 16 and the others didn't destroy too much of the computer equipment. If we can find some useful data, it might help us!"
The two continued onward and soon spotted a supercomputer humming away.
Delighted, Trunks walked over, took out a storage device, and plugged it into the computer.
"Krillin, could you look for an entrance leading underground? I'll copy all the data from this computer first and take a look."
"Sure."
Krillin answered and continued searching farther inside.
Trunks worked rapidly at the computer. Suddenly, his hands stopped, and his gaze settled on an entry about Android 17 and Android 18 on the screen.
"Perpetual energy source... Core of the Realm? What's that?"
Before Trunks could examine it closely, Krillin's voice rang out nearby.
