When Beerus saw Champa and Vados flying over, he immediately spat in contempt.
"This is exactly the kind of taste I'd expect from an idiot like you. You call this a tournament venue? It's far too shabby! And those spectator seats are rock-hard. What is this, seating from the Stone Age?"
"Whis! Fix this place up for me!"
"Of course, Lord Beerus!"
Whis nodded and flew up. With a wave of his staff, the venue's layout changed instantly.
The spectator seats became soft, the contestants' rest area became comfortable, and even the tournament ring gained decorative patterns, along with two enormous portraits of Beerus and Champa.
The entire arena suddenly looked far more grand and sophisticated.
Champa could tell the difference between good and bad, too.
His face flushed as he turned and demanded, "Vados! Why didn't you do this earlier?"
"Oh my, Lord Champa, I arranged everything exactly as you instructed."
"Hahaha! Champa, that's about all your taste amounts to!"
"Yours isn't any better!"
Apparently embarrassed enough to lash out, Champa started bickering with Beerus again.
Already accustomed to the way those two interacted, everyone ignored them and turned their attention elsewhere.
The six enormous, glittering golden crystal balls overhead naturally caught their eyes.
"Wow, are those the Super Dragon Balls? They're huge!"
Seeing the Super Dragon Balls for the first time, most of them were so awed by their immense size that they couldn't help drawing a sharp breath.
But some among the crowd had seen the Super Dragon Balls before.
"Those are indeed the Super Dragon Balls. They're scattered across the two universes," Tights explained.
Beside her, Lazuli asked curiously, "Tights, have you seen the Super Dragon Balls before?"
"Yes. Hanasia and I once went with Lin Chen to collect them. We've been to Universe 6, too."
