Perhaps Lin Chen had beaten him into a humiliated rage, but the guard who had barely spoken until now suddenly spoke up.
He scrambled up from the ground, looking utterly disheveled, and fixed Lin Chen with a vicious glare.
Then the guard's aura suddenly surged. His tall, thin body rapidly swelled as though being inflated. He actually seemed to be on the verge of transforming.
Lin Chen's gaze sharpened. So this guard of Zeno's was an alien who could transform too?
Looks like another tough fight.
Just as Lin Chen thought that, the childlike Lord Zeno suddenly spoke.
"That's enough. I've seen enough."
"Lord Zeno?" The guard froze. "Please let me teach this insolent wretch a lesson!"
"I said stand down. Do you want to be erased?" Zeno's tone suddenly turned cold.
As though he had just witnessed the most terrifying thing in the universe, the guard immediately lowered his head in fear. His swollen body began shrinking back to normal.
Goku and the others looked stunned. They had never expected a guard that powerful to back down at a single word from Zeno.
The guard was already stronger than Beerus. Just how unfathomably powerful was Zeno himself?
After ordering the guard back, Zeno floated into the air and called to Lin Chen, who had yet to approach. "Hey, hey! You've already won. You can come over now."
"Oh no! Is Zeno going to do something to Lin Chen?"
Seeing Zeno summon Lin Chen, Old Kai shuddered and instinctively murmured those words.
"Ancestor, will Zeno kill Lin Chen? Should we put in a good word for him?" East Supreme Kai whispered as well.
"You idiot! Who are we to interfere with what Lord Zeno wants to do? If you want to die, don't drag me into it!"
