"Time-Skip!"
Everyone in the ring saw a sudden blur, and then Son Gohan and Lin Luo's shockwaves shot out of the ring.
Yet Lin Chen, who should have been swept out along with the shockwaves, had vanished.
"Where's Lin Chen!?"
"Idiots! He's behind you!"
Amid that startled cry, Lin Chen had already appeared beside the Fourth Sequence's fighters.
Under their incredulous gazes, Lin Chen began his attack.
The fighters around him tried to flee, but it was already too late.
"Time Prison."
Around eight Fourth Sequence fighters had their time stripped away by Lin Chen, leaving them frozen like statues. Then, one after another, he flicked them out of the ring with his finger.
"Stop!"
The two Namekian fighters from Universe 6, Pirina and Saonel, attacked Lin Chen from either side, trying to stop him.
But their arms merely passed through Lin Chen's afterimage.
"This is..." Hit exclaimed as he watched from the sidelines.
He realized that Lin Chen was using Time-Skip Space, a technique Hit had only used once before, during the tournament between Universes 6 and 7.
Time-Skip Space allowed its user to store time, create a space with that stored time, and move freely within it, leaving only an afterimage in the Real World.
The others' attacks had missed because Lin Chen's body was already in another time dimension.
"Don't panic! He can be hurt when he attacks!"
Pirina and Saonel were from his own universe, after all, so Hit called out a warning, no longer caring that he would expose his own technique.
"Where will he come out?"
Pirina and Saonel stood back-to-back, fists clenched and stances set, their faces wary.
Just then, Lin Chen emerged from Time-Skip Space directly between them. His overwhelming strength meant he had no need for a sneak attack.
"Watch out!"
