Hearing Mechikabura's threat, Chronoa shouted her answer. "I will never submit to you! On the contrary, in the name of the Supreme Kai of Time, I will punish you people of the Demon World for disrupting space-time!"
"Ha ha! Punish us? You think you can?!"
Mechikabura fixed his gaze on the three of them. His muscles gradually bulged as tremendous power gathered within him.
From what Lin Chen could tell, Mechikabura possessed at least seventy percent of the Grand Minister's power, perhaps even more.
Without question, aside from Dragon God Zalama, he was the strongest enemy Lin Chen had ever faced.
Lin Chen assessed the situation with a grim expression. He understood the position he was in.
Though he had now become a true god, his current strength was probably still slightly below Mechikabura's, and even further below Zalama's.
But some things had to be done, even when his strength fell short.
Just then, Lin Chen suddenly heard Mr. Popo's words.
Mr. Popo had not opened his mouth, yet his voice rang out in Lin Chen's mind.
"Lin Chen, I must stop Lord Zalama. I'll have to leave Mechikabura to you and Lady Chronoa."
"Go ahead, Mr. Popo. I won't let Mechikabura interfere with you."
A moment later, Mr. Popo suddenly sprang into action.
He unleashed a burst of speed, charging straight toward Zalama
