As the box of bamboo lots was carried out, the disciples who had registered began climbing onto the platform one by one to draw.
Compared with the Martial Examination Metropolitan Examination, the rules of the Outer Sect Grand Competition were much simpler and more brutal. Resources certainly mattered to a martial artist's cultivation, but talent mattered just as much.
"Once you've drawn your lot, you must not exchange it with anyone. You'll be disqualified immediately if you do. Don't reveal your number to anyone else, either. Of course, if you aren't afraid of being targeted, do as you please."
The stewards reminded the disciples as they presided over the drawing.
Xu Yang reached into the box and grabbed a lot at random. Looking down, he saw "A27" written on it.
The number was neither good nor bad, sitting right in the middle.
He put away the bamboo lot and headed down from the platform.
"Who is that disciple?" Li
