The two fists collided with a deafening roar. Astral winds sharper than knives swept in every direction, and the surrounding runes lit up with blinding light. Xu Yang had neither suppressed his strength nor held anything back in this punch. He was simply venting the battle lust he could no longer contain.
Tyrannical power erupted from his fist like a mountain flash flood. His body merely shuddered slightly, but the charging Gatekeeper's glow dimmed, its body of pure energy looking as though it might burst apart.
With a whoosh, the Gatekeeper flew backward even faster than it had charged in. Dense cracks crawled over the arm that had met Xu Yang's fist. This Gatekeeper was, after all, comparable in every respect to a martial artist at Third Heavenly Origin Perfection. Without using techniques such as the Eight Fiends Subduing Dragon Force or Black Tortoise Suppresses the Mountain, Xu Yang still could not blow it apart in a single strike.
"That feels good!"
With his battle lust given an outlet, Xu Yang felt refreshed from head to toe, his spirits soaring.
While the Gatekeeper was still airborne, he strode forward in pursuit and unleashed another heavy punch.
This punch was simple and brutal. He still used no martial technique, merely venting his battle lust.
His red fist hurtled forward like a meteor. Already battered, the Gatekeeper barely managed to raise both arms to block, but how could they withstand Xu Yang's heavy punch? "Bang!"
The heavy punch struck, and the cracked arms immediately exploded, dispersing into pure energy.
Xu Yang's fist swept through like a blade splitting bamboo, punching straight through the Gatekeeper's body.
