Unable to let any trace of his aura leak, Xu Yang did not move quickly. After half a day, he had already traveled far from the Demon Abyss entrance.
Many plants grew here that did not exist outside, though perhaps the different environment had simply changed them. He saw no ordinary wild beasts. Almost every living creature here had been demonized into a demonic beast, each radiating a savage, vicious aura.
"A Demon Herb?"
Suddenly, beneath a boulder ahead, Xu Yang spotted a flower glowing black. It radiated a strong demonic presence and constantly absorbed the demonic qi in the air. It looked much like a spirit herb, except that one absorbed spirit qi and the other demonic qi.
"This place really is strange."
Xu Yang thought to himself that nothing like this existed outside. It had to be some evil thing nourished by demonic qi.
"If I took it outside, those people from the Demon Cult would probably love it."
Of course, he had no intention of doing that. He intended to destroy it instead.
He strode over and stomped down, crushing the black flower. Black demonic qi streamed out without cease.
With that done, Xu Yang continued on his way.
A quarter of an hour later, a bloody smell with a hint of fragrance reached his nose.
Xu Yang's interest stirred. This scent closely resembled essence blood extracted from exotic beasts.
He followed the fragrance and soon spotted a small tree three feet tall beside a pool.
"A Sunfire Vermilion Fruit?" Xu Yang's gaze sharpened.
The little tree looked much like the spirit herb known as the Sunfire Vermilion Fruit.
But a normal Sunfire Vermilion Fruit tree should have a golden trunk, and its red fruit should bear golden markings.
The tree before him had a red trunk.
