The Great Ruins Sea Realm.
The ocean rose and fell, its waves surging.
Crimson divine lamps drifted above the sea, dazzlingly bright and hot as fire. Their heat sent layers of white vapor rising from the surface, and within those swirling clouds, the coiled bodies of blood-colored dragons and serpents could faintly be seen.
A few Flood Dragons were occasionally trapped within. Their scales fell away, their sinews and bones peeled apart, and their ghastly flesh writhed and fused together. In an instant, their lives were extinguished. A blood-colored giant stood upon the sea, crystal clusters covering his body. He scarcely looked like anything of this world.
It was Xuyi, the Attendant Envoy of the path of spirit thunder!
He extended both hands and dragged the enormous mass of dragon and serpent flesh before him with chains of crimson light, advancing step by step toward the great ruins deep beneath the sea. At last, he landed upon a white crystalline layer.
Beneath this crystalline layer lay the Eastern Sea's Sea Eye, which connected to Guixu, the place where all waters vanished.
The blood-colored giant advanced step by step into the middle of the crystalline layer. There, he saw a great hole with ragged edges, as though something had struggled to break through it.
Looking down through this hole, he saw the bottomless depths of Guixu. Countless blue-black waves flowed around it, all sucked into the Sea Eye.
Each of the Southeast Two Seas had a Sea Eye connected to Guixu. But because vast water had flourished and Guixu had manifested, the Eastern Sea's Sea Eye required a Great Ruins Sea Realm to contain it.
Otherwise, once this realm broke, all the waves of the Eastern Sea would be drawn into Guixu. Then the waters of the Northern Sea would be
