Gloomy Netherworld Border.
Li Huanyou had already abandoned his flesh, becoming a yin spirit as he prepared to leave the Gloomy Netherworld.
His physical body remained in the Netherworld, serving as a threat from above to keep him from doing anything he should not in the mortal world. Several yin spirits also followed him in hiding, watching him at every moment. At the slightest anomaly, they would immediately inform the lords of the Netherworld.
At last, he reached the border. One step took him into the mortal world.
The sunlight left Li Huanyou somewhat dazed. Yet he saw his yin spirit body walking on its own, moving with the wind as though someone else were controlling it. His own viewpoint rose higher and higher, as if he were flying toward the sky, while the yin spirits around him remained entirely unaware of the strange thing happening before them.
Li Huanyou's heart sank. He tried to speak, but could not utter a single word.
This should have been impossible.
The method by which he had reincarnated from golden nature was exceedingly rare. That fragment of golden nature belonging to the Wu Earth venerable position had been sealed in the Gloomy Netherworld, its divine status drawn out and entrusted to a womb to gestate. Thus he had been born.
Part of that golden nature still remained in the Gloomy Netherworld, like a piece of his own life. Any disturbance should have dragged him straight back there! Unless Righteous Order's golden nature had already fallen into someone else's hands-

Before leaving, Li Huanyou had sensed it himself. The remaining golden nature, as much a part of him as his life, was still suppressed by a Dharma Treasure deep within the Gloomy Netherworld. No outsider could possibly have taken it.
