The Mistsea.
Ink-black dragon qi surged through the sea and rushed skyward, becoming black clouds that bore down like ten thousand mountains, blotting out layer upon layer of daylight. Deep-purple branches of thunder and serpents of lightning spread wildly through the clouds, with rolling drumbeats resounding across the heavens.
Countless aquatic creatures churned through the sea in celebration. Shrimp soldiers and crab generals, clam maidens and turtle troops all raised banners bearing black clouds and dragon patterns, waving them without pause.
On a steep sea cliff, a company of merfolk slowly emerged. Their songs were lilting and mournful, drifting down from the cliff to a Dark Vortex in the center of the Mistsea.
Above the sea, Hidden Rosy Clouds' eyes shone brightly. Mu Hei stood beside her, both demons solemn as they led the surviving clans of Mist Marsh behind them in bowing toward the vortex at the center of the Mistsea.
The dark seawater within the vortex parted, and purple lightning shot skyward. A majestic ink-gray dragon body emerged within it, driving thunder and wielding lightning, summoning wind and rain as it spiraled into the sky and headed straight for Heaven Pool.
A narrow opening split the layers of black clouds, bringing light back into view. The curtain of water around distant Heaven Pool broke open in turn, and the Mistsea slowly connected with Heaven Pool's northern reaches, suffused with majestic dragon qi.
The Ink-Gray Flood Dragon swept aside the heavy clouds and descended into northern Heaven Pool, instantly transforming into a man in magnificent deep-purple robes. Sword qi leaked from the reverse scale at his neck, striking terror into the soul.
The sea-sealing was complete. Northern Heaven Pool and even the Mistsea now belonged to his territorial waters. Standing here was like a Buddhist cultivator presiding over a
