Liu Xiaowen left for the Eastern Sea with Zhang Yu, and their journey ended at an inn where Shen Baoxiang confronted a mysterious youth.

• Liu Xingfang and the other disciples survived the Sword Pool trials, but Yuan Zhi’s betrayal drew Xu Xuan and Zuo Hemo into the Great Void, where Xu Xuan received the Mysterious-Purpose Sword Mystic Qi and forged his salvation blade.
• Xu Xuan returned to Green Luo, established the Thunderfall Marsh immortal foundation, and declined invitations to move the Great Red Abbey into the Plainlands.
• Xu Xuan reclaimed Eastern Secret from Xiong Youqi, developed plans for gu refining and trade, and received a black-jade edict directing him toward Mist Marsh and the Thunder Pool in Surging Tribulation Heaven.
• In Mountain Flame City, Xu Xuan sparred with Gongsun Xi, learned of the sword casket mission, and obtained Song Shiyi’s Heavenly Canopy Demon-Slaying Diagram before returning to his sect.
• After Zhang Yu’s spiritual pearls drew attacks, Xu Xuan learned that Zhang Yu’s wife had vanished after saving him and took a fragment that resonated with the Ancient Stele.
• Liu Xiaowen chose to search the Eastern Sea for Zhang Yu’s wife, said goodbye to Green Luo, and departed with Zhang Yu after Xu Xuan and the sect prepared his supplies.
• Xu Xuan traced a Blood River Sect remnant to the Plainlands, while Liu Xiaowen and Zhang Yu traveled through a devastated region and Liu Xiaowen rescued a boatman’s granddaughter from attacking barbarians.
• At an inn, Liu Xiaowen warned Zhang Yu about the suspicious patrons, then watched Shen Baoxiang confront a pale-yellow-robed youth whom he suspected was not from the Li Kingdom.

Liu Xiaowen and his companions escaped the Shen Household’s sacrifice and destroyed its power, while Xu Xuan led a campaign into the Wilderness of Witches. The campaign ended with Heavenly Tribulation Mountain swallowed by a golden skeleton, but Xu Xuan manifested [Upper Successive Union], claimed the mountain, and began rebuilding his sect there.

• A black vapor creature attacked the inn, and Li Jinzhi and Liu Xiaowen fought their way out with their companions as the Shen Household pursued them.
• Shen Zhushi bound Liu Xiaowen’s group and sent his soul into the baleful god, but Liu Xiaowen disrupted the ritual and escaped as the serpent rose against them.
• The baleful serpent killed Shen Zhushi and devastated northern Jiangyang, and Liu Xiaowen and Li Jinzhi then killed the Shen Household’s cultivators and divided its spoils with their companions.
• Xu Xuan and his allies occupied territory in the Wilderness of Witches, defeated Luo He, and claimed his treasures and the Nether Poison Fire Pool.
• Zhu Yucheng told Xu Xuan that the Dust-Sweeping Immortal Sect had ordered his master’s death, but Xu Xuan refused Zhu Yucheng’s demand that he submit.
• Xu Xuan and his allies attacked Banquet Radiance Mountain, where Qiong He began the Ghost Feast Sacrificial Rite and Shuchun helped unleash a golden skeleton that swallowed the northern mountains.
• Xu Xuan used his master’s sword intent to withstand the curse script, and his broken tribulation pool manifested [Upper Successive Union] and dispersed it.
• Xu Xuan claimed Heavenly Tribulation Mountain, absorbed [Heavenly Abundance Cauldron Thunder], moved the mountain beside Green Luo, and brought the Scarlet Radiance Abode’s halls and formations there.

Xu Xuan entered Surging Tribulation Heaven to seek Thunder Tribulation Origin Liquid, surviving its trials and a deadly battle before being trapped in the Netherworld. After escaping through reincarnation and returning to Xu Yi, he received a celestial writ and climbed the heavenly stairway, where he confronted An Xianhui over the Dharma Sword.

• Wen Guang emerged from the Bright Sun Furnace and revealed the Great Scarlet True Explanation of Artifact Refining to Xu Xuan and Wang Xiwei.
• Xu Xuan defeated Yuan Xi at the ferry crossing, then agreed to join Yang Yuanyi in Chonghua and enter the Grotto-Heaven.
• Xu Xuan entered Surging Tribulation Heaven, overcame its lightning trials with Xu Yi, and claimed the Greater Yin Dharma Sword while An Xianhui took its counterpart.
• Xu Xuan collected Thunder Tribulation Origin Liquid and killed Nan Xiu and Luo Shunfu, but Nan Xiu returned as a Grand Talisman and bound him.
• Xu Xuan crossed the Netherworld, entered Reincarnation Lake, and escaped its visions by gathering his reincarnated selves and forming sword intent.
• Xu Xuan returned to the Grotto-Heaven, rescued the injured Xu Yi, and the two seized spirit pills and furnaces before ascending toward the golden roads.
• Xu Xuan received the celestial writ of Mingdu Heavenly Soldier, overcame Xiao Xueya on the heavenly stairway, and challenged An Xianhui to return the Dharma Sword.

Xu Xuan strengthened his sect, defeated Cihai and the Lotus Temple’s demonic forces, and took in Qiong He’s tribes while exploring the Thunder Palace inheritance. After the Azure Vipers arrived under his command, he began planning their gradual return to their ancestral lands in the Southern Nether Celestial Pool.

• Xu Xuan defeated Zhou Shi at the Golden Stairway, stabilized his Immortal Foundation, and escaped the collapsing Grotto-Heaven with Dao Yan.
• Xu Xuan accepted the proposed marriage to Yang Yuanxin, then delayed it while planning to strengthen his sect and eventually move it overseas.
• Xu Xuan reforged Cinnabar Thunder, agreed to help Qiong He rescue his people, and defeated the Divine Envoys sent to stop their migration.
• Xu Xuan fought Cihai as Lotus Temple crossed the Li River, killed him with the Tribulation Law Immortal Executioner, and drove Green Luo away.
• Xu Xuan learned that powerful True Persons were watching him, took control of Verdant Wilds without interference from the Wu Household, and explored the revived Supreme Clarity Dao Realm.
• After learning Xiao Wen was trapped, Xu Xuan opened a new section of the White Jade Heavenly Palace and began planning a sect competition to identify worthy disciples.
• Xu Xuan learned that the Azure Vipers would settle near the Southern Nether Celestial Pool, then advised Mo Xi to scout the outskirts and advance toward their ancestral lands cautiously.
