"Madara? Which Madara? And he's Tsunade's grandfather? Do we have someone like that in Konoha?"
Jiraiya looked puzzled, trying to figure out whom Tsunade meant.
"Idiot. There are only four people named Madara in this era: a kid recently born into the Yamada, an elder of the Sarutobi Clan who died ages ago, and another who's a woman..."
Orochimaru couldn't help rolling his eyes at Jiraiya. He had possessed a photographic memory since childhood,
making him a walking encyclopedia. Now he offered a small demonstration of his vast store of knowledge,
though the facts he had stored were rather peculiar.
"Still, I don't think any of those could be the grandfather Tsunade mentioned..."
At that, Orochimaru shrugged helplessly.
"Wait, isn't there still one more?"
Jiraiya had long since grown accustomed to Orochimaru's strange knowledge and didn't question it,
but now he couldn't help asking out of curiosity.
"The last one is even less likely. He's a legendary figure who's been missing for a very long time."
"But, Jiraiya, don't tell me you don't know who he is?"
Orochimaru gave Jiraiya an odd look.
"This genius doesn't waste his brains on things like that. Quit keeping me in suspense. Who is it?"
Jiraiya scratched his head furiously. When it came to sheer knowledge, even ten of him couldn't match Orochimaru.
"He's our Konoha's First Hokage... the Asura of the Ninja World, said to surpass even the God of Shinobi... Madara Uchiha!"
"Don't ever tell anyone you're from Konoha again."
Orochimaru shook his head, looking as though he had given Jiraiya up as a lost cause.
Then, as if something had occurred to him, he added quietly,
"But rumor has it... after the First Hokage, Madara Uchiha, stepped down in favor of the Second Hokage, he vanished for years. No one knows
