"So you're the brat called Kakashi?"
Uchiha Feng glanced at Kakashi, who stood half a head shorter than him.
He made no effort to hide his disdain.
The young Kakashi remained silent.
"I hear you're pretty cocky. You're only a first-year, and you dared to apply to graduate and become a ninja?"
When Kakashi said nothing, Uchiha Feng pressed him even harder.
Back then, Kakashi had yet to wear a mask. His delicate little face held a coldness that warned strangers to keep their distance,
and he said not a word.
This class had been temporarily assembled specifically for talented, gifted ninja who had applied to graduate early.
Nagato and his two companions had graduated,
and Kakashi had graduated alongside them.
Since they had all applied to graduate early,
they had been placed in this special class together.
It included not only Nagato's trio and Kakashi, but also gifted ninja from the Uchiha Clan standing before them and various other clans, twelve students in total.
Most, however, had graduated only one or two years early.
The most outstanding were, of course, Kakashi and Nagato's trio.
But Kakashi was noticeably shorter than everyone else, making him stand out all the more.
Sure enough, a gifted ninja from the Uchiha Clan had come over to pick a fight with him.
Most of the other talented ninja from the various clans watched coldly from the sidelines.
They were quite happy to see what this young prodigy was made of.
"Shin, don't scare the little kid."
Several other boys wearing clothes emblazoned with ping-pong-paddle-shaped fans walked over, sneering.
Their words sounded like an attempt to intervene, but their expressions showed undisguised disdain.
Lately, the Uchiha Clan had enjoyed unrivaled prestige.
The same held true for its younger generation, who grew more arrogant by the
