Odin floated to the entrance of the building.
The door was made of silvery-white metal, its surface covered in fine patterns. Odin wasn't quite sure what the material was.
A screen was set into the frame above the door, displaying red text: "Unauthorized entry prohibited."
Odin paid it no mind. He casually raised a tentacle and tapped the screen.
Starry sky Nen flowed from the tip of his tentacle and seeped into the screen.
The screen flickered a few times, then turned green.
With a swish, the door slid to one side.
He floated inside and found himself in a corridor.
The corridor was long, with transparent walls on both sides through which he could see the space station's outer structure.
Cold white light shone down from the ceiling.
Metal plates covered the floor. Aside from making it easy to see that there was no dust, Odin couldn't think of any use for a floor in a place where every Starry Sky Octopus flew.
Odin continued floating farther inside.
After passing through this scanning corridor, Odin came to an even larger door.
This door was closed as well. Only after opening it could Odin enter the building proper.
Once inside, Odin heard a sound coming from within: a low hum.
Without delay, Odin continued floating inward.
As soon as he entered, he saw a circular hall.
The hall's ceiling was at least five hundred meters high, and its diameter exceeded two kilometers. It looked enormous.
But considering that Starry Sky Octopuses routinely stood eight or even ten meters tall, this hall was equivalent to one only fifty meters high and two hundred meters across.
Halls like this were all too common in the human world, hardly worth mentioning.
Light shone from within the walls, illuminating the entire space.
