Code sat in his chair and, for some unknown reason, slowly drifted off to sleep. A long time passed, and he kept feeling as though he had just had a dream.
It was bizarre and fantastical, so strange that even someone as worldly as Code found it unbelievable.
He tried to wake himself up, but it was like sleep paralysis. He could not move.
On what seemed like a very short journey, he saw many secrets that did not belong to this world. Even Ōtsutsuki Isshiki, whom he had once admired more than anyone, was among them.
Code panicked. Seeing Ōtsutsuki Isshiki again filled him with excitement, but he discovered that he could do nothing. He could not move or even speak.
Lord Isshiki, am I still powerless in the end?
