Lin Xiuya looked at the Snow Demon Ape opposite him and spoke calmly. A longsword appeared in his hand, and with a flash of his blue robes, he took the lead in attacking the beast.

Seeing the palm sweeping toward him, Lin Xiuya darted aside, turning slightly to evade it, then slashed his longsword across the enormous hand.
The sharp blade scraped across the thick hide on the back of the Snow Demon Ape's hand, leaving only a faint white mark.
"Its defenses are that strong?"
A flicker of surprise crossed Lin Xiuya's eyes when his strike proved utterly ineffective. He poured dou qi into his longsword and slashed viciously at the Snow Demon Ape's arm again.
