The black mist behind Protector Wu instantly condensed into a vicious dragon. It hurtled toward Yao Lao, opened its enormous maw, and snapped down savagely at him.

Yao Lao remained composed in the face of Protector Wu's attack. He raised his hand slightly, and vast Soul Power surged out to crush the dragon.
The dragon barely held out under Yao Lao's attack before it was pulverized into black mist that filled the sky.
Watching Yao Lao tear the dragon apart with one effortless strike, Protector Wu showed no surprise. Given Yao Chen's strength, such a casual attack could hardly have hurt him.
That strike had merely been a probe of Yao Chen's strength.
"Heh heh heh, Yao Chen, so you were only putting on a show!"
After Yao Lao's strike, delighted surprise appeared on Protector Wu's face. "Don't think I can't see through you just because you keep a straight face. In your current state, you probably can't even fight anymore, can you?"
"Tell me, just how much Soul Power did that strike cost you?"
Although Yao Lao's expression did not change at Protector Wu's words, helplessness stirred within him. It seemed he still could not bluff his way past him...
