"Zi Yan!"
Just as Zi Yan was about to swing her fist at the "mountain wall" blocking her path, Xiao Fan's voice suddenly rang out, interrupting her.
"Xiao Fan..."
Hearing Xiao Fan's voice, Zi Yan froze briefly before excitement spread across her face. She turned and saw him standing behind her. "Are you finished?"
"Yes..."
Xiao Fan had barely nodded when Zi Yan dragged him over to the "mountain wall." "Xiao Fan, hurry! I can sense lots and lots of good things in there! But for some reason, even my innate ability can't get through this barrier..."
Zi Yan looked unwilling to give up. As she stared at the barrier blocking her path, faint purple energy surfaced over her fist again, and she prepared to strike the "mountain wall."
Seeing her movement, Xiao Fan's heart lurched. He hurriedly reached out and pulled her back. As the disgruntled Zi Yan continued wriggling in his arms, he tapped her on the head, then looked solemnly at the "mountain wall." "My younger sister doesn't know any better and has disturbed you, Senior. Please forgive her..."
After speaking, Xiao Fan watched the utterly motionless "mountain wall." He did not linger, instead pulling Zi Yan away with him. Zi Yan was no fool either. Seeing his actions, she realized this must be some "old fellow's" territory and obediently followed him away...
"Hehe, the Xiao Clan's bloodline? Interesting..."
After they left, a barely audible murmur sounded before silence returned once more.
After leading Zi Yan away, Xiao Fan noticed there was no movement behind them. Knowing the other party did not intend to pursue the matter, he inwardly breathed a sigh of relief.
If his guess was correct, the barrier Zi Yan had mentioned should surround the secluded cultivation grounds of Burning Flame Valley's previous valley
